PC Game Download: Heroes of Might and Magic VI collectors: 27 USD at Amazon (like 3 bucks off for the normal version):

On their download page, Amazon now has what they call Breaking Deals. its similar to Steam Daily deals, but Amazon offers alot more games at steep discount and the prices are usually good for only 24 hours, so if you see something you like then buy it that day because it will be different tomorrow. They have alot of good games for $5.

grviper: Mkay. Got it investing some bonus coins. All good news. GG version is similar to US-retail, that is it can be patched to 1.0005 and 1.0006 using US patches. Protection ID reported only potential CD key checks and was right - you need the key only for multiplayer. You can even skip entering the serial during the installation. No activations or other BS.

If anyone gets Darkness Within 2 at GG be prepared to download a proper version from some other place. GG version can't be patched (and de-DRM-ed) by the 1.02g that GG supplies and 1.60b beta patch from the developer's page is a 400MB broken mess.

As if I wasn't regretting that purchase as it was.

The game on it's own is great IMO. But it was the first time I've ever dealt with Ubisoft's online DRM solutions and fascination with social media. It'll be the last time I do that.

Already have Aquaria and Crayon Physics but I paid more than the average anyway because I genuinely want all the games this time round. I might give my A+CFD key away because I already own them.

Before anyone accuses me of giving away the key and keeping the DRM free downloads, I already own both games (Aquaria twice) so this is a completely spare licence.
