Starscape's cool if you like Asteroids and a bit of grinding :)

DotEmu have gone insane and posted an anaglyph 3D banner for the weekend promo.
Strategy fans might find it interesting although some of the games on offer are on sale here too.

lowyhong: Painkiller Pandemonium - 75% off. Worth the purchase.
I might buy this. Can you tell me what DRM type? Does GG downloader break large downloads into managable 2Gb size like GOG? Can you download 1 game at a time or do you have to download the entire bundle at once? Thanks.

I can't say anything about the drm used in it, but I'm also interested in that question.

Regarding the other questions, GG uses a download manager which you can pause and resume. You can download each game everytime you want. GG bundled many packages itself, so there is a area on the site labeled with "This Bundle contains following products" and cover with links to the games. In that case you can download each game seperately. Otherwise it's one big package and one big download. In the case of Painkiller Pandemonium it seems to be one big download.

Edit: Maybe an example is more helpful here. An example for a from GG bundled package is the Unreal Anthology.

Thanks, I didn't know where to look and it was right in front of me. For bundled games, the DRM section always says SEE BUNDLED PRODUCT and I could never find it. Its was right in front of me, LOL.

GG has Chaser for $1.24 but there is no DRM info. Has anyone bought this game from GG? If so, can you tell me what DRM type it has? Thanks.

A HUGE word of warning regarding older games on GG. Unless it specifically says it is a version which runs on Vista/7, it will not be such an updated version. For example I Bought Slipstream from them with bluecoins and the game was not the updated Slipstream game sold here on GOG and on dotemu. Of course their support is excellent and I got a refund, but still, be careful...

grviper: Prince of Persia weekend at GG.

Every item is tainted by Tages.
Yep anyone intrested in installing rootkits and malware on their computers should buy these games.
Nobody mentioned the daily deal on Steam is Transformers War for Cyberton for 75% off. It's a pretty good game as it goes and certainly better than those horrid Michael Bay movies.
I see Direct2Drive has Dragon Age Ultimate flavor for $7.50.

Anybody know what style DRM D2D uses? (if any)

It varies I think, though I loathe D2D. You can always buy it there and activate it in Origin though.

Ick. I hear that playing the DLC requires a connection to EA each time. Does EVERY version of Dragon Age Ultimate have that annoyance?

I don't think it requires a conection each time. As far as I know, it authenticates the first time, and then the following times if you're connected to the internet. If you're not, however, it just lets you play. And you can find cracked DLCs in several places I will not name :P

Like the official Bioware forums? It's not a crack it's just editing an entry in the xml file.
I'm thinking of picking up DS3 just for DS1 and DS2, never played them before.
Is it a good deal for $26 off steam?
