A Flash casual one. Kinda like Powder only simpler.

Nice.

I put in a bunch of fake info for everything, and it gave me the link for the download. It said something about a product id and password that expires in a few days, but the zip file wasn't protected in any way, nor was the installer. I tried launching and beginning a game, and there doesn't seem to be any need for that id or password at all. I guess it's DRM free, not that it really matters all that much since it didn't cost anything to begin with. :)

Skunk: No, and you clearly don't like them, so I'm left wondering which paragraph it was that I said they were perfect. >_>

grviper: It's not typical for Russian players to like a Russian game. Our releases are usually betas compared to what the rest of the world gets.
So, why play (and pay for) those two, then?
Because they're good games with a lot of really good ideas, and they're just plain fun, even if they are a little rough around the edges. Maybe they're a little too rough around the edges for $15, the normal $30 price (which it's returned to now, the sale is over) is simply too much to ask, but I enjoyed the hell out of both of them.

It was just a recommendation. I'm not much of a review writer, the numerous reviews on the game pages for both of them are gushing with praise. Some criticism, but mostly praise. I've personally seen a few other members on GOG mention Xenus II here, which is what made me interested in getting it the last time it was on sale, so I'd say I'm in fairly good company in thinking that game is worth playing.

Doh, mistook the contact information part for CC info. Still none of their business imo, but oh well.

Wasn't that the weekend sale?
my bad....I didn't check if it was still on.
GameStop / Impulse :

Elemental: War of Magic $19.97
Sins of a Solar Empire - Trinity $9.97 !!!
The question is though, is Elemental worth it at the $20 price tag? Is it a least in a playable state as a single player game?

How are heroes these days? From what I read they got basically outclassed by units made up of countless soldiers quite easily. Seemed kind of dissappointing. I don't want a hero to be hacking and slashing his way through the battlefield solo but it's nice if they make a difference at least.

That said I might still wait for them to separate from Impulse before getting this anyway. And considering the original release state of this game I'd almost say this game's normal price should be closer to $20 at this point.
