Yay. Any stability/interface issues?

No idea. I haven't played the game extensively yet.

I forgot to add, that there is a PatchIt.exe standalone patcher in the game directory.
It requires a patch file, but I didn't try that.

UK Onlive launch so may be limited to UK/Europe.

1st game £1 and if you are a BT broadband customer 3 months free playpack http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=33551.

I'm going to get me some Deus Ex HE action on a PC that would never be able to run it!

EDIT: Plus if you sign up to the playpack free trial you get 30% off everything, including the £1 sale. DE:HE for 70p then.

I've seen quite a few threads about it, and I'd guesstimate that 90% of the people in the thread who have used it say it's actually pretty cool. Sales get mentioned a lot at gamesite sales like cheapassgamer too. Pretty surprising because I remember reading that it was going to bomb.
I've never used it, for some reason I always get an error when trying to run it. I don't care enough to look up a solution, cause I don't need it. My pc can run everything at a decent enough framerate

This isn't really the thread to debate the merits or not of onlive but having now tested it i can confirm that (for me) it works and gives me the chance to play games that my computer will never run. I'm not stuipid enough to buy a full price game from them but with sales and they do some pretty good ones I think I'll get a good deal of gaming out of them.

If you own a decent PC or console then lucky you but some of us don't have the spare cash for a new piece of hardware.

I'm still using a three year old computer with a 9500 GT graphics card. Runs pretty much every game I've been interested in playing at least at medium settings. Granted I eschew a lot of newer titles because I think most of it is just console garbage but I've played a handful of AAA 2010-2011 titles just fine.

Think it would cost under $200 to assemble a computer like that today... buy you probably couldn't find anyone selling the components it is so outdated. I can't imagine what people could be using that's even more dated than what I run.

Nope anyone can use it and get the £1 game deal but BT customers get the free playpack for three months as well.

You might need a better imagination then ;) Mine is 6/7 year old P4 3.2ghz so anything requiring a dual core (which is most new AAAs now) won't run. Onlive gives me the chance to play a few of them.

Unfortunately the distribution deals GameStop inherited from StarDock when it purchased Impulse were almost exclusively NA only. We're working on getting wider release contracts to where a daily deal will be a daily deal, regardless of where you live. GameStop has a LOT more bargaining power than StarDock did, it's just a matter of time.
