gyokzoli: What new rendering engines?
There have been a few developments recently to add DX10 support for example
Models are still ugly, but mods are getting there.

Those mods are made with the intention of keeping the game looking as it was designed and not changing much, which I appreciate. I don't think any of them are working on a real graphical overhaul.

Progress has been slow and updates scarce, even if you keep track of the forums.

p_mamusz: Indeed, 60% minus on the whole pack is quite good. On the other hand, if you would want only one game like i do its incredibly lame. Only 20% off mah Planescape? Orly? o.O
Looks like i must make do with Alpha Protocol then. ^.^

(btw AvP 2010 sucks grammar nazi balls)
Yeah, get your point but I guess the discount is structured to reflect the fact that these are the most popular gog games.

(Not sure what AvP sucking nazi balls is all about - probably me being naive)
Steam Daily Deal: GUN 75% off.
Anyone have a space channel 5 part 2 savegame with all the levels unlocked?

The game is fun but oh so very hard. Level two just seems to go on forever. Thought I finally had it beat and I have to face another part of the boss and lost.
GG Painkiller $2.50 DRM-free, I decided to get it. I didn't want to pay another $2.50 for the Black edition just for 10 more levels.

A couple of weeks ago, the black edition was like 2.5 bucks on green man gaming.
Not DRM-Free since it is tied to their launcher, but still. I got it.

Is GMG similar to Steam? No way to work around the launcher? With GG I use the backup trick. Does GMG have a similar trick?
I was wrong, it was not Green Man Gaming, it was Beamdog. I get silly small digital distribution outfits confusing, haha. But no. GMG does not require a launcher, instead they have VERY restrictive DRM for their gimmick, which is exchanging games for instore credit.

Beamdog has a minimal client. You don't need to launch from the client, but you do need to be logged in to launch the games. So far, I don't think there is an wasy trick to bypass that.
Well, I decided to wait. I think eventually GG is going to have a Painkiller Complete with all the Painkiller games in one pack for a cheap price. I'm patient.

I have this game on every console/handheld (and PC) it was released on, I really enjoy it and would advise anyone thinking about it to grab it NAO!!!

I know not a gaming deal but id rather put 1 post in this topic than make a topic for it.
Damn, I would buy Alpha Protocol from Steam, but it just gives me this error all the time. "There seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction. Please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance." *sigh* It's like early this summer, when I tried to register a steam account, it would just give me errors for no reason and I missed the deal I wanted to get. I could register a few weeks later... Fine job you are doing Mr. Steam. :P
