Duke Nukem forever just dropped its price in STEAM to $20 -- That's less than half the original price, less than 6 months after release. Speaks loads of how well the game did :\

$14.99 here. $4.99 more than what I paid for it on release.

It's funny actually as when it went on sale on Steam here, they tried to charge $59.99 for it which was higher than the US price, now we pay less =)

Wait till a 75% off sale. While that'll be $5 in the US, it'll be around $3.75 for us. That's not even 300 yen! It'll be well worth it.

its not worth even 5$ buy a better indie game at that price instead , they will develop better games and offer good support.
You're probably right, but I don't think if I can stop myself once I see it's only 5 bucks. :)
I don't understand this Duke Nukem Forever hatred. Yes, the game is not exactly up to today's standards but still much better than the old Duke Nukem games. People wanted and oldschool shooter and they got it.

People didn't want old school. Apart from perhaps people working at the publisher or developer, who said that people want old school?
Besides, the game is worse than old school. For example, the stupid limit with the weapons you can hold.

The game can be found under 10GBP for the consoles. It's still not worth it IMO.

O...M...G....
You.... You just....
How....
Why...
WHAT?!

Blasphemy! How can you even say that. The original Duke Nukem 3D is one of the best, if not THE BEST, FPS games ever created! It's pure awesomeness. DNF cannot be even compared to it's predecessor.

People wanted old school, yes. I wanted old school as well. But I wanted a finished, complete product. The game was fun, but if not for the Duke, I wouldn't spend a second playing it. Duke was the only thing encouraging me to play and making it actually quite fun.

Unfortunately Gearbox would need at least few more years to make DNF a decent game and no one could afford any more delays.

Also, the mix between old-school and new-school did nothing good. The whole Duke franchise is about being over the top with everything, so two weapons limit is something I don't understands.

I am definitely going to play DNF again, but DN3D gives me way more fun.
