Kurina: Not a deal, but I don't want to clutter the forum with useless posts asking for the location of other posts! Wasn't there a proper trading thread here on the GOG forums somewhere? I used the search function, but it isn't coming up unless I am blind.

Figured this would be the best place to ask without making pointless new threads.

MGShogun: You mean Classified thread?
Maybe it's time we start a new one. I'd like to trade some of my stuff too, and I don't trust eBay.

OTOH a thread looks like it'll be a lot of trouble to properly maintain. I wish GOG would have a sub-section for it instead.
I was thinking riddick also.. What I read, I cannot be sure it works in win 7 x64 and also the thing that's most bothering, even if they are good games, they have Vin Diesel in it. I can't get past that fact and I think I'll pass also.

I use Win 7 x64 and it works fine.

But Vin Diesel? Is there a mod to put him go away? =) Still.. It's 2 games. But almost 7 euros.

You said it yourself it's two games for 7 euros. Also it's not Vin Diesel it's Riddick and Riddick = awesome.

Does it support controller?

Yeah it does. Not a very good multi-platform game though IMHO. The first Riddick is, oddly enough, superior to the new package in every technical aspect besides general prettiness. I played through the first Riddick (as in, the first release, not the first campaign on the new release) 3.5 times (one of my favourite games), and I still like it more than both the first and second campaigns in the new one. There are many obvious technical issues with the new game, like glitched enemy AI and bullets clipping through solid surfaces, and for some reason that I cannot quite place my finger on, it just lacks... something that the first game had. It's not just nostalgia talking either. I played the first game for the 3.5th time in 2009, and Dark Athena (both campaigns) in 2010.

Riddick is indeed awesome, and I ought to sue Vin Diesel for false advertisement, he cannot be used to power my tractor.

Are those games any good, beyond the riddick factor?

The first one is brilliant the second is just good. Which isn't a bad thing, it's certainly no Deus Ex: Invisible War that's for sure. The first game has a really nice stealth feel to it which was unusual for it's time. You are encouraged to stay in the shadows and use Riddicks eyeshine to gain an advantage and it's not a simple shooter.

Thanks, although I just read back in the thread and the Steam page, I think I'll just pass until it no longer has a TAGES infection, but it does sound like one to put on my wishlist.

I doubt Atari will ever remove it. They promised to but that was a long time ago. The TAGES use on it is the refund type not the hideous no-revoke-ever one so you actually gain an activation every month up to the initial 5 installs.

Of course I wouldn't say no to a release on GOG. There are certainly newer games on GOG than Riddick.
so, CoD's are -50% in steam, should I bite with either MW1 or MW2? I remember playing MW1 some time ago, and it was okay.

what is the price for dollar users for those games?
Velvet Assassin is $5 /-50% on Steam. I was hoping for the GG Version to go on sale because it´s DRM Free. But I guess now the Steam Version has to do.

Unless someone has some other arguments than no liking Steam. :)
