gyokzoli: Yes! I played more than 100 hours only in singleplayer.

Antimateria: Those add-ons.. any good? Or should I just save money and go just for the original?
Yes, the DLCs are great, maybe except one (Mad Moxxi).

Just one thing missing.. How the hell did you spent that time? =) I mean.. no fps-shooter can give so much in solo.

Borderlands is no ordinary shooter

If it comes from the reaver.. It's always a good sign.

Edit: didn't a few seconds ago check this thoroughly.. I placed my sentence in a wrong place. ^^

I think i clocked +200 hours in Borderlands by now. Got all classes to max level (siren, hunter and soldier twice just to try to play through with the different threes...) and finished all the DLC's with them all, have not played multi-player yet....

This. Borderlands is fun solo. It is better in multi, too bad the matchmaking fucking sucks. If you want to play Borderlands in multi properly, you need to get Game Ranger.

Its built into the game already, you just need the account, no additional DL

My point is that gamespy is terrible, and an external program is required to have a good borderlands multi experience.
I honestly always found Borderlands more fun solo.

With other players, even close friends, you run into the MMO habit of there always being a mad dash for any loot. Even if we tried to diplomatically divide up weapons based on skills and preference, there'd always be one moment per game where someone would get butt hurt that they couldn't pick up fancy gun #543 even though they had no skills in SMG or rocket launchers.

I also found the "You get better things in multiplayer!" part to be BS. I found all kinds of great gear in single player, but never once found anything half as good playing with others.

Not to mention that by trying to give stuff to who can use it better you waste a good amount of time you won't waste on single player at all.

That is tempting. What are Big Fish Games like - any issues such as DRM or limited downloads?

Big Fish does have a client, but the games will work without them. From my experience, the BF launcher will decrypt a game at purchase time, and mark the decrypted file as hidden.

When upgrading PCs, so long as you copy the game files and the related %APPDATA% and Local (found by examining indie studio name), you'll be good to go.

My wife had one problem with BFG, and that is if you trial a game, in certain rare circumstances you have to uninstall then reinstall the game, or your progress is never saved (one of those time management games).

Hope that helps! PvZ is a great and fun game, enjoy! Note that the GOTY version has removed Zombie Michael Jackson, the upshot is the Zombatar maker is quite fun for little ones.
