I know Space Hack. It's a reasonably okay Diablo clone, though it can be difficult as hell.

Confrm here about Spacehack. The SciFi theme is nice vaariatioon from the fantasy theme, if you have neough from Diablo or Torchlight. I Like it quite. Same goes for Chosen - Well Of Souls. Nothing too special about them but well executed.

both very nice adeventure but from totally different corners of the genre.

BTW: and DON`T get Alpha Prime! IT´s the same corridors and the same guys for the whole Game until the VERY END. The ONLY fun part is where you drive over the surface of the Mars or what ever. The Endfight (the only boss fight) is punch in you face. It is def NOT worth your TIME.

Fans of rather slow detective point-and-click adventures, resistant to an occasional walls of text in the dialogue, should probably get Daemonica. Yeah, the screenshots look like it's a Diablo clone. BS. You start by running around a shithole of a village, where a girl was murdered and skinned, and her suspect boyfriend hanged. One of those cases. Naturally you start the investigation by dragging his corpse down your basement, sending your soul to the world of the dead and donating some blood to dial up the guy's soul for a little chat.

It's not awful. It's basically an entirely single-player version of a standard MMORPG. It's not bad if you don't mind that sort of game.

I respectfully disagree. Alpha Prime may not be the best shooter but I enjoyed it thoroughly to the very end. If you don't come in expecting a polished AAA game you may well find some good fun. It's cheesy, it's corridor-shootery, but nonetheless I think it's fun. I also like the atmosphere.

So anyone thinking this game is not for him may want to reconsider. I am (for some reason) a fan of Alpha Prime. For me, it was a very enjoyable game.

BTW. I'm too lazy to check the price but I bought it for about $2-3 and thought it was a good price.
