Taleroth: Any particular reason you want it? I was anticipating it for a while, but the reviews didn't seem great. I'm just hoping to hear something good about it I can cling to.
To be honest because it's a mech game and while the reviews arent stellar they aren't actually bad either. For €5 it has to be worth the gamble especially as the Front Mission games are not usually found on the PC.

I tried it on the PS3 (found it for $10 a while back) and it's not that bad. I think most people panned it because it's not the same as previous Front Missions, you're now directly controlling the mechs, not fighting in turn based isometric view battles.

But as with most games, I found trying to play it with a controller to be damned annoying. Hopefully on the PC, it'll control better.

bobo797: Don't know if this is was already stated earlier, but GG has Tropico 3 Gold for only $2.50 right now.

Don't think they had. Tropico 4 was50% off for a while though, I guess this explains it.

bansama: Front Mission Evolved if $7.50 on Steam (5 euros -- which is even cheaper) or $15 for the us poor mugs in Japan. Also Japanese version apparently had English patched out.
... Wow, all DLCs are still $5. Ripoff much, Squeenix? :(
Second Steam Midweek madness is up. Prototype 10.20.

Been wanting to try it for a while.
Bulletstorm for £10 on Origin is terribly tempting.

I played the demo on the 360 and liked it alot.

Anyone think its worthwhile?

Anyone think its worthwhile?
Yes. Like Mirror's Edge, a lot of people love putting it down, but it's actually a damn fun game. So much fun that I've bought it twice (once on PC and once on PS3 - as it's one of the very few games I can actually play without problems using a controller).
Is Bloody Good Time a bloody good time? Or at least $3.74 worth of good time?

Multiplayer only deathmatch game running on the Source engine that requires Steam.

So... maybe.

The game looks like it doesn't take itself seriously at all, but it's just another deathmatch game. :(

It's essentially a followup to The Ship. Which was a brilliant game that nobody ever played.

I can't recommend it on that reason alone. Maybe others have different opinions.

I only played the demo, but it seemed kind of lame.

Yes! I love it! I think this is the best shooter this year.

Great single player mode, boring multi.

Really fell short of its potential and it seems like nobody is bothered with it anymore. Being multiplayer only that's kind of a killer.

Thanks. I don't generally do multiplayer, but this one looked like it might be worthwhile anyways. I'll save my money for Mr. Gog then.
