Detlik: Is section 8 prejudice any good?

grynn: I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
If anyone is curious RO if you buy key from here you will get steam key. I tried it and it works.

acare84: This is not a deal but Avadon: The Black Fortress is only $8.99 on Steam. It is $20 at the devs' web site. It is an awesome RPG game, you should buy it.

I assumed he would lower his price when the Steam version launched (like VVVVVV did) but I guess not. maybe he's just slow.

Spiderweb Software is so cool, buy it from the dev if it's all the same to your wallet.

XBox 360 or PS3 only:

Amazon has Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom on sale, I'm only part way through it but it's a very nice story and well worth 15 bucks (maybe 10 hours there, unless you go achievement hunting):

This one is NOT on SALE but the price was reduced from $9.99 to $3.33 earlier so this is as good as a sale:

http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-TESLA/tesla-the-weather-man

you can also get dirctly from the developer for the same price
http://www.thoughtquake.com/

Nikola Tesla versus Thomas Edison. Great J&R with lots of additional innovative gameplay mechanics.

Truly Recommended!

I have the retail version of Red Faction Guerrilla and I know it comes with online activation and GFWL, but does anyone know what Gamersgate's version comes with?

You can activate your retail game on Impulse. Gamersgate version has the same thing AFAIK. And game is using GFWL in all versions.

Does it have online activation? I don't mind buying a copy off GG if it doesn't have OA, so I can have an extra copy just for that rare occasion when my Internet access goes down and I happen to have a craving for RFG.

I don't know that because I don't have GG version but as I said you must activate the game via Impulse AFAIK. You can ask this to GG support as well.

I bought RFG from Gamersgate and it does indeed use Stardock's GOO. It's an online activation that ties it to your e-mail, you don't actually need to register it with Impulse or have it running but the next time you load Impulse if your e-mail is the same it will automatically appear on your games list.
