oh crap, sorry about the caps...
The problem with single player Magicka is this:
1) Checkpoint system. You die, you go back to the beginning of the chapter or some checkpoint a few screens away. Since you're likely to die a lot on some spots, it gets repetitive fast.
2) The real fun in Magicka is playing with your friends and accidentally kiling yourselves in all sorts of crazy ways possible, since friendly fire is active at all times. It is easier, because four guys can handle mobs better than one and if you die, you have your friends to revive you and continue playing, instead of constantly going back to checkpoints.
So be prepared to replay some screens a lot if you're on your lonesome. It got too frustrating and pointless to me, simce monsters don't give you experience or drops, so killing them turns into a chore. Only bosses drop stuff you can use and you can only carry your staff and a sword (that's all you have in your "inventory"). Experience or "leveling up" is nonexistant. The story is funny and the real entertainment is in multiplayer co op.

I'm only on Chapter 3 atm though, so it could be harder further on.

Edit: Well, it should cost a bit over 4 euros but seems like they just change the currency sign. It would be great deal still.

£2.99 (~€3.50) is a lot better than the €5.99 they're asking.

Yeah, I'm keeping my eye on the UK site now. It's sad, EU based company and still it's better to buy in UK/US :)

yes, somehow, it makes a personalized Version of you games. So no more DRM checks are needed, because "your DNA is imprinted in the game", as far as I gather.
I need to try AVP (Sega) finally, which uses it.
Anyway, I found the GWFL gives you 3 or 4 installs per month.
Should be Ok I guess.
