Pheace: Sigh... 5 Euro ... Not saying it's not worth it but ... *sigh*
And even worse... £5! Not even Valve do that to us...

ne_zavarj: Well for me this pack is cheaper on D2D Uk than on Origin . Edit:

Is it worth ?

Meh, it is a great game, but I have seen better deals on it, I believe Steam has had it as low as $7.50 in previous sales.

Hi. It's a pretty common practice when sales are so low to make things simple like this, in order to support the "5 for 5" theme. Not trying to pretend that $5 = £5 or cheat anybody. A number of people have expressed concerns about this so I think we may update the pricings soon to reflect their equivalences to $5. Sorry about the trouble.

Lol, doubt they extended that logic to currencies worth less than a dollar.

Sorry but you would have to be a total half-wit to even think $=£ is acceptable. They clearly tried a fast one here because if they wanted to keep it simple they would simply have said $5 for everyone. Even if they do lower the price I'm not buying it because of that cheeky move.

+1

Or maybe if they ask for 5 MKD. I can do that!
Can you guys check now the price ?

£3.25 here. So that seems about right, I think.
€3,50, better :)

I emailed him as well and his reply was as follows:
Yes, apologies. I've already changed the price. FastSpring has some strange caching thing where it doesn't always update it immediately for some people. If you open it in a different browser or completely close and reopen your browser, it should update the price to about 3.5 GBP. :)
Since I'd just earlier looked up what $5 was in pounds, I said it should actually be more like £3.10.
His reply:
My mistake, I confused it with Euros. It's 3.25 GBP. It's a bit more since we need to pay conversion fees to the dollar. :)
But then:
When you mentioned 3.10 it bothered me for a while. It appears I made an error and used the wrong table to convert. Thank you for correcting me, I've set the price to 3.10 GBP. You may have to close and reopen your browser to make it appear since FastSpring has some strange caching deal going on.
So there we are.
Have to admit those are the most honest responses I've seen in a while, that deserves a kudos.

I don't generally buy any of these if I can't activate them somewhere else but for that interaction I may just do it for the hell of it :)

It's a little odd that they'd set the rates up like that in the first place, but it's cool that they listened to folks' complaints and made the update.

Some of those games look kinda cool. I'll have to check into them this evening.
