Vitek: GamersGate weekend looks great. I'd like to buy, Tomb Rider as well as both parts of Just Cause as well as Batman:AA. I need to buy some GOGs too though.

KavazovAngel: Can you register AA on GfWL if the service doesn't support your country?
You can create a Live account from anywhere, just remember to choose a supported country as your residence. You will never be able to buy MS points or DLC unless you get a credit card from the country you chose or buy point cards elsewhere though.

Detlik: Just out of curiosity which indie pack is better this http://www.indiegamespack.com/ or http://www.buygamesnotsocks.com/ ?
Bought both. To judge about the sites itself (information collecting, getting game keys for Desura & Steam etc.) gamespack looked more solid to me. From gamespack you will get a link to a site where you can download each game 9 times, from socket you get a mail with the download links inside. How often you can download the game I don't know. That's btw the most problematic point for me, the lack of informations. The gamespack appeals more tought-out for me, but is on the other side longer online.

Talking about the games I would say from the sock bundles Delve Deeper and Steel Storm are the highlights. Bought the pack mostly for Delve Deeper, because it's for me cheaper than elsewhere. So far I also played the first two levels of Steel Storm, which is really a good shooter. I'm not really a fast-paced player, but I enjoyed it so far. I didn't played the other games, but I'm not really a fan of this retrolike-graphics from digitanks and Mactabilis.

From the gamespack I already owned Lylian and Bob came in pieces, which are two nice games. Lylian is a game with a great atmosphere, but unfortunately very, very, very short (took me as a not so good player less than two hours). It was planned as episodic game, so let's hope the follower will come and will be a little bit longer. But for a bundle like this it's really a nice experience. Bob came in pieces is also a kind of puzzle game, hard to describe. It's not fast paced and without time pressure, very relaxing and perfect for short plays. Vizati I started yesterday evening and I love it so far. Great puzzle game, also without time pressure. At last Aztaka and City Rain are also very well known Indie games with good reviews so far.

Maybe you should watch the videos from the developer pages, they can give you an idea what types of games you can expect. If I need to choose, I would go with the gamespack (Vizati, Bob came in pieces, Lylian (as short game) good reviews of Aztaka and interestinf draft of City Rain). Both packages are the money worth.

Why just 9 times from Indiegamespack? I thought they were both like Humble Bundle - infinite download times... :(

They use e-junkie.com as download service. From the mail: Please note, download link(s) will expire after 9 attempts.. You get a Desura key for all games and steam keys for Aztaka and Bob came in Pieces. Personally I'm not a big fan of this services, so to backup your installers in a safe places is absolutely necessary - for both bundles.

And no keys at socks? Except for steam games

I think it said on the FAQ that you could ask for another link if you use up all 9.

GameRager: Sign up and select a country you can proxy through, then when using that account to buy and install games just use that proxy to make it look like you're from that country.
Well, here's the thing. I already have an account, which is stuck with the US as a country. Now, every time I want to buy something either through the client or the website, it tells me to enter my full address.

When I buy from GamersGate, how do I activate my game on the account? Will I need to enter my full address?

GG downloads through a client AFAIK. But I don't think they're region restricted, and you can save the installer files after install.

You get a steam key for Dwelve Deeper per mail. Steel Storm is also on Steam, but a key is not included (there is a twitter feed about it). They had problems with Desura yesterday, but from a twitter feed it should work now. If you get a key by mail when you buy it now I don't know. So far I got not a eMail with a key, for cases like this I can send an eMail. Again, for infos like this you need to check the twitter feed, which is hidden in the faq area - that what I meant with the information probems and the site looked well thought-out.

Desura key for Socks, and a Steam key for Delve Deeper. DD isn't currently on Desura, but when it is it'll apparently be added to your account.

If I might be so annoying, could you repost the tweet here? I was highly curious about Steel Storm but the lack of steam key is saddening for me :(

Neat, also the FAQ part made my heart jump with joy :)

Yes, but how do I add the game later to my GfWL account? :)

(talking about Batman AA)

Edit: From his tweets you see he's a little bit overwhelmed about managing the package ;-) He didn't expected it to be so complex.

You can't. GfWL doesn't have the facility to add purchases from other retailers.
