Pheace: Strangely enough for me, that may actually mean I will use them more. (probably still only Steamworks titles) UK copies are often a lot cheaper.

Delixe: I would still buy from them if they didn't hate Paddys.
Amen. <brofist/>

If you had a grudge against everyone who hated Paddys, then...

Well, it explains a lot.
I tried over an hour and still failed finishing the payment of FO:NV.

I'm not in US, nor UK but somewhere they don't wanna sell me the game.

But I tried using a proxy which works before, either in D2D or Steam.

This time I just kept failing again and again until it is said I have reached the limit of the payment method.

Creadit Card? Failed. Paypal? Failed. ClickandBuy? Failed.

All right, I'll wait until Steam sell me the game with another price I cannot resist.

Delixe: I'm not derailing the tread to go into this in detail but they have closed the EU store forcing everyone in Europe to use the UK one

The UK prices are nice, bought.

Maybe that one staffer who closed your ticket just hates paddys? I'd keep pestering them either way, as if they really want to help they can still do so, and if they don't you annoy them ad infinitum.
What's that about the installation of a third party client? it's a steam game, other plataform or what?

New Vegas?

Steamworks
Ugh. Fallout New Vegas Digital CE is $12.50 in Direct2Drive.com

Fallout New Vegas standard edtion? $49.95.

Also I could've sworn you could buy the Collector's Edition at Steam, guess you can't anymore.
With this code you get an extra 15% off on New Vegas. Hell yes I got it.

It's Steam. You can just use the cd-key given on D2D and use it on steam, you get the game there.

It says to me that the discount code it's not valid for the product in the cart
Even if you don't like the Gamebryo engine, F:NV is worth $12.50 any day of the week, esp. considering it's the deluxe edition.

Are you sure? When I tried to use it with NV I got this message:
Your coupon or discount is not valid for the product in your cart.

Also, I cannot pay in euros (or even enter direct2drive.eu in the first place). I'm constantly being thrown to the .co.uk site and forced to pay in pounds. It's been long time since I last shopped by D2D but I've never had such a problem. Anybody else from NL experienced this maybe?

They removed the Direct2Drive EU website and redirect all (European) traffic to the UK website.

Gamefly took over a few weeks ago. .eu appears to have been shut down and now we're simply referred to the UK version. A good thing imo, since the UK prices tend to be a lot better for us than the Euro prices. Not to mention the EU site barely got any sales at all.
