Foxhack: But this is Germany, so his case is special. Steam censors games for sale there, so an outright block isn't out of the question...
I already traded a few games I wanted with people from the UK and US to get the uncensored version. Works without a problem. I think there is currently only 1 title (one of the latest WW2 Shooter), that has a ingame location check which prevents you to run a uncensored version in germany.

But for all other games, no problem... I have Quake, All Fear Titles and a lot more, you do not get in germany :)

Metro09: Remember: the Steam Summer Sale is potentially imminent. The Fear series is almost always put up as one of the daily specials although I don't know off the top of my head if it was cheaper in the past than $10 for all of Fear 1 and 2 (including the DLC).
Around last Xmas Sale Fear 1 + DLC was $2,49 and Fear 2 $7,45 (if I remember correctly about F2)
I just played the demo of F2 and found it on the low side of medicore. Right now I am glad I did only Pay $2,49 for F1, since I did not have to the time+space to d/l the 17gig it takes.
I am more for fat paced shooter which Fear2 is def. NOT. On top it feels like dragging on and fighting is not so much fun. So unlike e.g. Fallout 3 where you also cannot move so fast, but the feeling is right here. Also the 1-Tunnel Leveldesign are not much interesting. It´s nearly a Rails-Shooter.
After 20 minutes of play Kane & Lynch2 was MUCH more fun.

Even if e.g. K&L2, Doom 3 or Prey or RTCW are are mediocre overall shooter, the pacing is right. more than in Fear2

Need to try Fear 1, finally.

Dotemu has a point and click adventure sale with 50% off for the games from the Atlantis series, the Syberia series, A Vamypire Story, The Runaway series, The Abbey, Mysterious Island, Journey to the moon and a Fairy Tale. So the prices go for me from 3.74€ to 5€.

Personal I'm highly interested in the Abbey (it's the normal version), A Vampyre Story and the second Runaway game.

50% off a 50% permanent price reduction. Nice. I thought the trinity set was still $40 which surprised me when you only said 50% off but put a very low price.

Anyone know if the 'People who bought stardock games here will get go with Stardock' thing still applies now *after* the takeover happened? They did say about people who already had it but ... really no interest in Impulse.
66% of Left 4 Dead 2 is the daily deal on Steam. There's also a Four Pack for it. And for once a game is cheaper in EU than in US according to steamprices.com (by 0.21% :P )

Great game. Terribly boring if you don't have anyone to play with.
