Azarr: Really? I never had any problems with the controls.

And the DLCs are hardly important, no great loss there.
Well, if you've got a controller or can content yourself with the defaults I'm sure they're fine. But I'm never happy with the defaults. Not least of all because they're nearly always right-handed-centric.

So perhaps it would be worse for me than ne_zavarj, but it's nonetheless not a game you can recommend to someone who is concerned about the control options not suiting them - because in this case it almost certainly wouldn't.
Steam's daily deal for today is Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood for $2.49. It might not show up as a daily deal (depending on region), so if you want to take advantage of the offer, you might have to use Steam search to get it.

It wasn't showing up for me, I had to look for it to get it. Neat game, just under 120 MB. It's stupid fun, but don't go in expecting a COD clone.

I got for my friend (and my friend for me, NO it wouldnt be easier to buy it each for himself) from aukro.cz (sort of Ebay in my country) Brink steam keys, but the problem is its russian keys and now we have no idea how to activate it since neither of us is in Russia. I dont know where else to post it, but how could we solve our problem?

think the only way is to find someone *in* russia, to log into either your steam account, or create a new one, and then activate the key there.

The new one would be the best option from a security standpoint obviously.

Either way. Shouldn't have bought it xD

I tried that of course :) but it keeps saying "This item cannot be activated in your region".

I did mean both options would have to be done by someone in Russia :) If I'm not mistaken those keys are really region locked to IP. So no Russian IP = No luck.

Perhaps a russian proxy server might work? But i'm clueless about those. Also, even if you manage that, I wouldn't jump back and forth between russia and your own country in under a minute cause that might set off flags :)

Detlik: snip
If my experience is anything to go buy, a proxy won't be sufficient. You'll need a Russian VPN. However, given that the key is Russian, there are two further complications you might encounter:

1 - The game will be Russian language only. You will not be able to select any other language (if you speak/read Russian, I guess this won't be a problem for you).

2 - It won't just be the activation of the game that is locked to Russia, but also the ability to play the game. Thus you will need to connect to a Russian VPN each and every time you wish to play the game online -- that could turn out to be damned expensive, unless you can find a free VPN with no bandwidth limitations.
Perimeter Emperor's Testament is on sale at Gamersgate for $3.

Perfect for complimenting your copy of Perimeter from GoG :) (Emperor's Testament is the standalone expansion)
