Well, here is the deal.

Is there some turnbased loving mac-user? I have this 2WW turnbased strategy for mac on gamersgate and it may please somebody. http://www.gamersgate.com/DDB-WW2TOW/world-war-2-time-of-wrath-bundle

I am not sure if i will just gift it to somebody, or exchange it for, let say - Arcanum.

Use the brand new PM system :) Thx

Obviously the eBay crowd heard Alice is being bundled with the new one. Get someone to gift it to you.

It's the box that usually matters. I paid $20 for the very first print of Half-Life, including shipping, which I thought was a mighty good deal, all things considered; this is despite that I own Half-Life on Steam (annoying quickload issues, awful main menu etc).

I also managed to snag a copy of the UK-print of Ultimate Doom for $25. Again I also thought that was another p. awesome deal.

And then there are another 70+ games that I bought this month >.> (I spent a total of about USD1000....it felt awesome at first, then when I looked at my bill, I just felt small)

BTW I'm just wondering, are there any other eBay users here? I base my retail therapy on eBay, and regularly search for random old games for the heck of it. If anyone's interested, I can post links to good deals there.

Well, if you or anyone else, happen to find boxed copies of Colonial Conquest (SSI) for the ST, or GBA Two on Two Basketball for the ST or CPC 464 cassette. Please let me know.
Sid Meier's Civilization V £19.99

Lou: Looks like Atari is jumping on the band wagon - Just got an e-nail and they are offering The Witcher 2 Pre-Order 10%, the DRM Free version, and the Original Witcher for free. North America Only - See Attached.
avatar
Kabuto: Why are they offering the original Witcher and not the EE version? Promotion fail right there.
You can actually upgrade to the EE for free with a simple patch download - They are selling the physical game I believe and must have a warehouse full of the original. Shipping is probably why it NA only.

I like to snoop and do a little bit here and there, mainly buying,

When Fallout: NV came out I imported half a dozen of the coaster sets for the equivalent of £6 a piece and sold them at £20 + shipping, thats as far as ive went selling really...

Pheace: Farming Simulator + Railworks 2 bundle -50% on Steam, lol

spindown: LOL indeed. I'm very confused by this flood of simulator games apparently all made by German companies. Who the hell buys these "games"? Some of these are offered in competing versions from different companies, and some even get yearly updates like Madden or FIFA. I guess Germans really like their simulation games...
I saw Farming Simulator 2011 on my local supermarket's shovelware shelf. Nice to see something on there that's not a hidden object game I suppose.
I actually have a budget release of Alice that I bought at Wal-Mart years ago for like eight bucks.

I wanted to get the PC version of Alice 2, but I don't want to buy it at EA Store. :(

I do. Some of them happen to be far more enjoyable than the likes of COD or whatever the current pew pew FPS of the moment is.

What I don't understand is all the people thinking that simulators are a joke... I have to wonder if they've ever even tried one. Or perhaps, they're simply too intimidated by them and making jokes about them is a defense mechanism.

Hey, if you enjoy these games, more power to you. I'm not saying that the simulator genre is bad per se, but my impression was that this recent flood of games is pure shovelware. To be fair, I've never actually played any of these simulator games, but I have watched some Let's Plays where the gameplay looked truly atrocious. If you say there a some good ones, though, I'll take your word for it...

deepsea01: and another one: Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes at impulse for €7.50
avatar
carnival73: I should warn for people to research the Steam forum board for Grotesque before purchasing, many people are having troubles with the game, including me who can't even get it to load.
Absolutely. The story is somewhat quiirky and interesting but the interface is horrible. The developers have basically said, after he most recent patch, this is the best it's going to get because we are make the sequel. Personally, I'd avoid the game. I got it on sale for $5 and it's basically unplayable even after the recent patch.

spindown: This is getting ridiculous. In this globalized world, we are supposed to pay almost 2.5 times more for the same digital product, distributed over the internet, just for having a European IP address or credit card number? No thanks, I'll just take my business elsewhere.
Well US has to pay their record dept left over from Bush adminstration somehow and EU members seem to willing to showel cash into money sinks like Greece, Ireland and Portugal so surely we're willing to pay off US depth as well. ;-) ;-p
