Aw thank you :( Was thinking there is plenty stuff to unlock and play with. This probably mean that the weapons are locked to the side I choose, no AK when playing for americans and no M16 when playing for the other side. :(

It appears that most of the unlocks and upgrades are done only through multiplayer.
And multiplayer seems to exist just for the leet
Of which I'm just a wittle itty bitty noob and get dumped from servers immediately after the ten minute login wait.
So BF2 sorta uselessly sits in my Steam library.

Played the demo and thought that it was pretty tubulartastic.

Now wondering if BEEP REALLY requires that I go and buy a $700 computer to play it?

Tallima: It's good. 5 Euros isn't a *great* deal, but it's good. I got it at Best Buy for $9.99 over a year ago.

All of the additional material has been a free download for a while (go to version 2.5 and that will be a 1.6GB download or something like that). So you get the $30 for the $5-10 price.

I enjoyed Bad Company 2 a whole lot more and gave away my copy of BF2 a while ago. For $19.99 or less, it's a good time.

No reason at all to buy the complete pack. I looked up some more specifics for you since it's been a while for me.

#1: Download and install version 1.41

#2: Download and install version 1.50 (1.93 GB).

#3 (I think optional): Download and install the 1.50 patch update that fixes ALT+TABing issues.

That said, 1C's always on sale somewhere it seems xD
Although I must admit they have a number of good games under their belt. King's Bounty Series, Men of War, Space Rangers etc.

For me it's time to start saving for the Steam Summer sale I think, end of June's pretty closeby xD

Ended up with Fallout New Vegas, Plants vs Zombies GOTY, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Mount and Blade Complete, Mass Effect 1+2 and Men of War: Assault Squad, all in the last week or so..

Now I can wait for the summer sale xD

Not exactly a gaming deal per say but Metaboli has 14 day trial on the premium service for new members, so you could sign up and play a bunch of games before it runs out. I have used them in the past and never had any issues.

Only thing I would stress is you have to cancel 72 hours in advance but i would say earlier than that to ensure you dont get charged. You still get the to use the service till the agreed date anyway. Might be worth a look.

On Gamersgate there is week-long 1C sale. Most, maybe all of their games are on sale there. Quite big one promo. Everything is 70% off.
They are still tuning the sale, few minutes ago it was 103 games on sale, now it's 108 here.
