dyscode: on Steam
Capsized - a really beautifully weird looking shooter just unlocked with 10% discount. $8.99
I totally dig that art style
just watch this vid from the devs:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDZQrrCpaeA&feature=player_embedded

And Sol Survivor is on 4.99 (50%) all week long.
Looks nice for Tower Defense game.
Am playing Capsized demo and can say that it is just as good as it looks.

Despite high system requirements, game is old computer friendly or at least the first level of the demo is old computer friendly but should note that your monitor needs to be able to handle 1280x720 as it's the lowest selectable resolution.

KOCollins: Knights of Honor is on sale at gamersgate for 2.50 if you guys haven't played it, its a RTS, which you can pause at will, takes place on the usual map of europe, and is one of the funnest games I have played, but, of course its my type of game. It would be a definite insta buy for me on GOG. If you like eruopa universalis, but, wanted something a little simpler, Knights of Honor is a good fit (easy to understand), not as many territories as EU and you can actually conquer the whole map.
As far as steam goes, though I'm not a fanboy, they do have good deals, and if you never played Mount and Blade, I would definetly give it a spin this week!
Have been KoH as well and can say that it's very similar to the Total War series but smaller in scope and simplified. Decent game for $2.50.

Universe Sandbox is 10% off on Steam ($8.99/£6.29/€8.99) for a week or so. Looks fairly intriguing to me.

gyokzoli: Impulse daily deal:

Frontline: Fields of Thunder 2.95 USD

Looks like a Company of Heroes clone to me. Anyone has any experience with this game?
It's actually a Blitzkrieg 2 clone. :D Nice hungarian review. Nice english review.
Is it worth it? Well its cheap, but its quite oldschool, a variant of classic CnC with semi-realistic units and setting, sometimes frustrating, sometimes fun(depends on how sadistic was the mapper), it's alright i guess if you like RTS games, and want to try something new, but it really can't hold a candle to the Soldiers/Faces of War/Men of War games, and the Theatre of War series.
I bought http://www.gametap-shop.com/buy-download-pc-games/Test-Drive-Unlimited-2-1615-39.html for 10 dollars. I got cd-key and everything but when I try to buy it again as a gift for my brother my payment keeps getting rejected (no matter if I choose paypal or credit card) and when I asked my brother to create account there so I will pay it for him I keep getting same error even from his account. Any idea why is it happening?
First and only time i bought from Gametap, it took me 12 hours to complete payment, what a mess!
You should change IP or use another computer, i guess.

Maybe its because of IP... anyone willing to help my brother get TDU2 by buying it as a gift, sending it on email I will give you in exchange of 10 dollar gog?

I'm seriously thinking about getting 3D minigolf, I had a similar copy from Sierra, so I'm guessing that this will be similar seeing as this is also a Sierra title.

I'm not actually seeing any mention of DRM there, but the page also doesn't claim it to be DRM free, a quicky google hasn't revealed any clear guidance on what type of DRM might be there all I'm seeing is old posts referencing Starforce and something else.

For the price, I'm willing to tolerate some DRM as long as it isn't anything too obnoxious.
wish Steam would cut the price of Bloodlines too :(

Usually with Activision it's a simple SecuROM online activation. No limits.

Eventually I found information in the sitewide ToS, for $5 I'd consider that to be tolerable, but if I were paying anything more than that I wouldn't even consider it.

I mostly wanted to make sure that the Starforce stuff wasn't likely to crop up. If it's just SecuROM, I can live with that at that price. I found references to it, but none of them were particularly recent, and I think all of them predating D2D refusing to carry games with Steam DRM.

If we get EA on board here, we might end up getting the original 3D Ultra Minigolf though, which was absolutely brilliant, I'm sure that this will be money well spent.

Ea store North America (US and Canada only)

Sims Medieval 50% off - $24.99 until may 6th 2011.

I must say that's quite a large discount for a game released a little over a month ago.

Securom DRM used.

I'm guessing this may be of interest to any US people here. Sadly seems region restricted >.>
Ubisoft is running a Prince of Persia weekend deal. "Up to 75% off" in this case means 75% off the latest entry (Forgotten Sands), 50% off the relaunch title, and 25% off the older stuff.

There's also apparently a BOGO deal. If you buy something from the left column on the promo page, you can pick a title from the right side and have it for free.

The latest Prince of Persia (The Forgotten Sands) digital deluxe edition is the best deal there: 75% off thanks to the weekend promo (down from $30 to $7.50), comes with a free Sands of Time thrown in, and you still get to pick something else (like original Call of Juarez, original FarCry, or Heroes of Might and Magic 5).
D2D UK ( prices without the 15% off coupon code )

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 £18.99
Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition £17.99
Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition £29.95
The Sims 3 £14.98
