I have not played the first one yet despite buying it but Death to Spies 2 is VERY good. At least I thought so. It's pretty much a Hitman game but more hardcore with less forgiveness. It's a PC exclusive so it looks and controls very well. I had a real blast with it, but know that it is a stealth game not a shooter. Patience and trial and error are par for the course.

I was certainly getting a Hitman vibe from the screenshots. I might wait and see how cheap GTAIV complete is tomorrow, if it's not cheap enough then I might get these games.

If it means anything to you I never thought it played like a lot of Russian games, by which I mean buggy and unpolished. I thought it felt like a professional game, just very unforgiving. I hear the original limits saves within the levels, which is one reason I have not tried it yet. The second game is very doable though, with patience.

Polish doesn't really matter to me, it's just gravy. As long as the game is good I'm happy. After all one of my favorite games is Rogue Trooper and that is neither pretty nor polished.

Given the fact that this thread keeps turning into a chat room for people that put their pressing need to chat over respect for other people and respect for a forum topic, I'm inclined to agree with you.

Unfortunately cheapassgamer has missed out on some deals I've seen elsewhere.

Maybe somebody could make a site that takes the actual posts that contain deals from this thread and post them. That way, the knitting club could chat and people could still see deals.

Honestly why are you even here? Asking if a game is good is driving a thread offtopic? Sorry but we defeated the nazi's in WW2.

One of the dutch sites I post on is like that, and to be honest, I don't like it at all. People should be allowed to discuss deals as much as post them. Whenever people complain there it makes me wonder why they even bother. just make it a news tracker or something, no need for a forum thread.

Of course, when it's offtopic alltogether that's something else, but discussion I'm perfectly fine with, I even prefer it, it's nice to be able to talk about sales and the games around them.
