orcishgamer: He gives his books away for free anyway (not that I'm adverse to buying them as well). Little Brother is a pretty good read by him as well.
michaelleung: Little Brother was okay... felt unrealistic as plotlines could get compared to For The Win.
I don't know if I've read For The Win, even though I know about it. I should get on that.
Little Brother was a teen hero fantasy without any werewolves or vampires, that's kind of why it read like that, I suspect. What drew me to it was the message, "this is bullshit and wrong, fight back!" isn't something people say anymore.
And for the purists, accept my most humble apologies:
Amazon has buy one, get one 50% off on some games:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=br_lf_m_1000666021_grlink_1?ie=UTF8&plgroup=1&docId=1000666021 I noted Bulletstorm and AC: Brotherhood in the list, PS3 has Dead Space 2 thrown into the mix. Also, NFS is on there. The DS games were anemic, save Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, given the price disparity with other platforms, you'd want a second DS game worth buying and there isn't one.
