No, I have XP. I didn't think this topic was the right place to discuss it, but the game only works on 1/10 computers I've tried to run it on. I'lll be damned if I can figure out why.

They did something similar with the first FATE, and kept the promisse. Also, FATE is quite a nice game, made by some people that did Torchlight.

Well for what its worth i liked it. Only 5k more to go lol. Have not played Fate in a long damn time, interested to see whats improved.

It might not be Win 7. It might be that you're using a multiple core processor to run the game. Try setting the game to only use a single core through the task manager or use the third party runfirst to do the job if that's not an option due to it crashing too soon.

I'm perfectly fine with preorder stuff being offered to other people! And at $1, it's not so bad.

It's actually quite an improvement, if you liked the original Fate. They added four different races, lots new spells, some new monsters, a cape slot, etc. It's not so much a complete expansion as that it ties together the two previous games (which it includes) and attempts to give it something of a story along with adding in features that should have been fairly standard to begin with.

Yuuup, gonna get that Magicka DLC, having THREE different suits is gonna help with multiplayer confusion.

(And ALSO gonna get Magicka Vietnam on release)

Nope. Because it's still a pre-purchase any "gift" sent in that manner would be a digital brick. For the record, I have a "retail" version that works with the use of a VPN. My annoyance with this situation though is with how both 2K and Valve are continuing to scam gamers here by "selling" a game that is never getting released. It's like they *want* us to pirate their games from now on (as that's the only reliable way now to ensure their games will be playable here). Fucking laugh is what that is.

I am not sure I follow. Let me get this straight, the game hasn't actually been released there? Is that what you are saying? If that is the case, I understand fully why gifting it wouldn't work as you may never get the release, which in turn you may never get to play. I hope I understood that right, lol.
