To any steam account you can add non steam games.
all the gamefiles are placed in your steamfolder and there is a function to auto backup them to another drive. This way you don't have to download the whole thing again when you have a crash.
I once tried to change files with a friend to know if worked and it doesn't , apparently there's something in the digital copy's from steam that autochecks your bought list and blocks the STEAMgame if you don't bought it. If you add the same game but a retail version it works like a charm.

Direct2Drive has a bundle of Meridian4 games (23 games total) for $60, and each one of them is 70% off if you only want to buy a few of them.

Steam is selling Droplitz for 1.99 now through August 28th...I don't know if I should buy it because:
1) $1.99. Great deal since it now has leaderboards.
2) Steam...
Should I just go ahead and buy the damn thing?
