But hey, many people love that game. By all means, enjoy it.
Considering that you get one months play time and the game + 9 expansions for just 4 pounds I say it's worth it.
Also, Eve is a game with a weird learning curve but once you're past that it is an extremely enjoyable game with a great community.

I'll get BF2 for sure. And maybe Lucidity. Anyone played it? how long is it?
Eve Online for $5 is a deal, and looks like it will get a downtime soon, because of the new expansion. But it costs $14.95-$10.95 per month?! http://www.eveonline.com/faq/faq_02.asp

Yes, it costs 14.95 per month but for those 5$ you get 30 days play time (so you get the game + 1 month) thus saving about 10$.
Also, the downtime is minimal as the patch is rolled-out to the players (so you're offline downloading the patch as the servers are offline installing it).
Lust started playing Lucidity and it's nice; Gamers With Jobs also spoke nicely about it so for that price it's a steal.

Crappy deals today. Maybe tomorrow we'll get better ones.

The first day on Steam was OK, that thq pack got my attention, but then the offers keep getting worse. Tomorrow we'll know, maybe they'll end with just a valve pack, or a giant sale, cause it is cyber monday.
Nice thing with it is that you don't have to play it for hours on end; once you decide to learn a new skill you pay for it and then a countdown stars 'till the skill is learned (timer based on other pre-requisite skills) which still ticks even when you're logged out of the account.

Carry on arguing if you wish, it won't change the facts of the situation at all.
You should take a course in logic, or perhaps buy a better dictionary. Or stop trying to show off on the internet.

How is that? I am 300 pounds, into powerlifting, and I have NEVER, even at my WORST physically, (knock on wood) had back or knee problems, and I am 29.
In fact, when I started deadlifting, I was scared that maybe my back would be weak from years of carrying around extra weight...it was actually quite the opposite. All the hiking/weightlifting I do allows me to carry the extra weight safely, though I am aiming to lose 30-40 pounds of fat this year, to lengthen my hiking range a bit. I am carrying more around my midsection then I want to, and that's really the only area I am noticably overweight. Damn beergut!

EVE at $5 is worth it for sure if you EVER want to try it...at the worst, it's a $5 1-month trial. Not bad. If the monthly fee turns you off that much, you just have to decide if investing $5 for an extended trial is worth it.
I think you can get a free month ANYWAY, so that's 2 months of play for $5. If EVE ditched the geeky point and click interface for a true space sim control scheme ala Freespace 2/Freelancer, I would be SO into that game. In all honesty though, the control scheme means I will *never* get into eve.

I would suggest you do the same. Especially the first and last (I doubt a dictionary would ever help you).

Erm, the Prince of Persia: sands of time trilogy are on sale on Steam too.
Are the sequels any good? I've only played the 1st in the trilogy , bought from GoG of course.
