A lack of a manual save system. Worst thing any game can do. For those check point lovers, you don't HAVE to use it all the time.

It was back then already when Kojima tried to tell the world in no uncertain terms that he can't write stories.

Advent Rising
Reproducible game breaking bug. And back then GOG didn't have a money back policy. One of the greatest game soundtracks, I have the CD, but no interest any more to play the game.

Great game, neat mechanics. Shit finale / plainly tedious final boss fight.

Zelda Breath of the Wild - motion control shrines
Zelda Breath of the Wild - rain. You can;t climb in the rain so you have to just stop and wait five minutes - literally - for the rain to end so Link can finish climbing a mountain or hill. And it rains all the f*cking time. I say 40 percent of the time it is raining in the game and I say 70 percent of the game is night time or rain. It is always dark in the world.

And wasting time replaying something you've already accomplished just to get to what actually killed you is for morons;)

It's the only game that has ever induced a 'rage quit' in me -- at the temple on Thessia.
