Many....

The first I regretted was Microprose's Starlords, back when games were still sold in big boxes. At that ime, I couldn't purchase game that often and that one was a solid disapointment. Then there were many more, until I got out of gaming for quite a few years. When I came back to it, the world was different. the age of digital distribution had come, and with it big sales. You don't regret really buying an uninteresting game for 2€. You just don't play it.... Yet there are games I purchased at full price and in these I only had a couple of regrets.

The last to date is Battle Worlds Kronos. Maybe because I expected it to be better than the good old battle isles, and that's not, as far as i am concerned, the case.

Of course I have also accumulated some games in sales that in the end I shouldn't have bought. Is there one to mention in particular ? Oh, yes, Defcon, with that DRM free yet DRM-ed issue.
Any game of those i have purchased up to now, which currently is being sold on GOG, too. If i knew that gog would be created and what games it would sell beforehand, i would have never bought them in retail, or god/gog punish me, Steam...

Hmm. Postal 2 ? For some reason I couldn't enjoy it. Maybe I just don't get the humor.
Risk of Rain

I just don't get it, or I do get it and it just isn't my cup of tea.
I just feel like I'm missing somethin because so many people seem to like it and I just find it incredibly bad.
Gothic 3 on release

I never ever played a game with so much bugs on release. But I learned something from this: I will never buy a game on release again.
But to be fair now it is a really cool game (after all the patches and community work).
Anything I bought on Steam because... because... I'm full of clichés!

Seriously, New Vegas because buggy, boring and dull.

Also Deus Ex Again and again and again... why do I keep re-purchasing this game hoping to enjoy it. :/
Beyond good and evil for me. I was trying to go in one direction and Jade was like, "noooo, I want to go in a different direction bitch".
Planetscape: Tournament
I killed all of the undead that were coming towards me in that first arena, including the skeletons and that one ghost. Now I don't know what to do next, and I don't see frags recorded anywhere either. Plus, enemies drop no weapons and armor as loot.

Morrowind
The main quest was too difficult. I was told to find this guy Caius Cosades, but couldn't find the quest compass among the options. So I went north, across some glowing fence, and fought the monsters there. Perhaps Caius is in one of the fortresses there, but I'm not strong enough to defeat his guardians.

Outcast
Several hours in and still no references to the band. I want my money back.
The ones that force me to play in German unless I change my OS language for them, that is Castle of Illusion, Ghostbusters: The Videogame, Marc Ecko's Getting Up. Not that I paid that much for them, but it was still a waste of money.

The ones that had me pay more than I actually wanted to because I had given up hope of a good discount, only to be bundled for $1 a few days later. Where Is My Heart, I'm looking at you.

The ones I bought with shitty DRM from companies with shitty customer service, like all those Telltale games. I don't regret buying the games, but I regret buying them directly from the developer or on GamersGate. Should have waited for the Humble Bundles and GOG or even bought them on Steam. Still better than that SecuRom crap or Telltale's in-game downloading of episodes.

Maybe a few mediocre games that I ended up disliking for wasting my time, like Evoland, Richard & Alice, Home, Gomo. Maybe those that had disappointing performance or design issues, like Miasmata, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, or those that I bought while still on Vista and that won't run on Win 8 now, like Soulbringer.

And maybe the ones that I already bought sequels of for the collection, only to find out I can't really get into the series, like Dragon Age, Deus Ex, Witcher, KotOR. But who knows, maybe one day I'll change my mind, so I don't really regret owning them.
Uhm...

True Crime Streets of LA - Bought it for the xbox on release day (60 or 70€ i think), i think that i finished the game in one day, so yeah, i blame the magazines for hyping this shitty game.

Gears of War 2 - It was the first and only time that i broke something (videogame related), i was getting pissed with the multiplayer so i raged quit and out of nowhere, after i put the disk inside the case this uncontrollable fury possessed me and i crashed the whole thing in my hands (even got some cuts).

Killzone Shadow Fall - It was part of the console bundle but still, the game is so mediocre that it hurts, pretty graphics and nothing more than that.

At least this is some of those that i remember, there are many others that i bought on early acess, release or with a small discount (-25%) and nowadays i see them with -75% discounts or more. What's the problem with that? Well, i didn't even played them yet...
Wasteland 2. I backed it at the $30 tier in an excited moment, only to watch it drift away from classic Wasteland more and more. Looking at the end result actively depresses me. I've had it redeemed in my GOG account for a long time, but I've never even bothered to download it.

Maybe you should actually play it before judging it. Seems a bit stupid to be honest.

I've seen more than enough. I watched the aesthetic, tone and writing being developed for several years. None of them were true to Wasteland 1: they're just a mess of grimdark, teen-angst mediocrity. At my age, I don't have time for that stuff anymore. New Vegas was the real Wasteland sequel, in my opinion.

Right... time to go to the farm me think...

LOLWUT ? Man, PS:T is not Diablo, its focus isn't its gameplay, which is ok-ish at best.

You should play it mainly for the amazing story and atmosphere that is unlike any other game.
