amund: Shelter
So boring game, nice art and such but got no enjoyment out of it. I still don't understand the purpose of the game, seemed to lack any sort of story.

Driftmoon
Bought it because it had good reviews. I don't understand why it got good reviews, controls felt clunky too and uninteresting story. Not a big fan of the art style.

Hotline Miami
I'm unable to play this game more than 5 mins or I get a really bad headache. The game was fun otherwise but the constant moving screen makes it impossible to play.
Uh oh, I recently picked up all three of these. :) Haven't played 'em yet, though!

GioVio123: You really shouldn't pay attention to reviews of any article writer, unless there were players, if so fuck 'em even if they think is good and actually is
Yes I agree, normally I watch gameplay videos but didn't this time and just read reviews. I won't do same mistake again.
Torchlight: Got it on sale but would have regretted the time invested even if it was for free. If you played Space Hack and didn't like that game - that's how I feel about Torchlight, seriously. Not looking to pick a fight with anyone, I just didn't like it. Even the much older Darkstone and Silver are more fun than Torchlight. Probably won't ever try Torchlight 2 even if you say it's better, first one put me off too much. It's rare that I dislike a game despite it being so highly rated, I won't review the game as there's no point in blasting a game that's so popular, it's only going to look like trolling. Just glad I didn't pay full price for it.

But I am going to blast this one, making this my first negative review:

Crimsonland (Remastered version): Just wrote an extra subjective extra angry review:

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_finished_in_2014/post2188

All my other reviews are more objective and fair, I don't usually write up anything if I haven't got anything constructive and useful to say but this time I got upset and needed to vent, sorry.

Long time ago, after reading review (10/10) I decided to buy Dungeon Siege 1, it was much more expensive than the rest of games back then (about 1/4 more if I'm correct) and it was a terrible mistake, I traded it for Gothic 2 after some time, best decision ever :P.

darthspudius: Mass Effect 2: Boring, dull and very poor story if you could call it that.

Deus Ex: Well written but gameplay, well there was not much to like at all.

Devil May Cry: Piss poor controls, awful save system.
Dude it was the best what are you talking about?, you could anywhere in anyway!, at least they did that for the xbox 360 port, and it's great to lameout bossfights and get their gems repeatedly without progressing, an awesome exploit, like doing the chuchu in melee with Luigi (or I guess L-Cancelling, but then it wouldn't be fun)

Nah Deus Ex, still a great performer for it's time, it makes the RAM of the PS3 to show how shameful it is
Chronicles of Riddick Butcher Bay and Dark Athena
Splinter Cell Conviction
Project Black Sun
Blood Omen 2
Demon Stone
Enclave

There are probably more, but those are the more important mistakes.

Bouchart: Dungeon Siege 1. I found it so exceedingly dull that it took me nearly a decade to beat because I kept losing interest.

Fortunately I only paid about $7 for it.
Agreed about dungeon siege, I bought 1-3 on steam ages back and never got them working. I have another few that I bought for the art style or concept that turned out to be flops as well.

Tempted to say mass effect 2 - loved the game but paid way too much for it at full price when released (Now can sometimes be found at the $5 mark). Not to mention the hassle of waiting around for 3 to turn up away from origin, giving in, then not playing it because I've forgotten the story and lost my saves. Oh well.

Edit: Also my xbox and all associated games. Since discovered any game I actually want on it comes out on pc generally cheaper and with better controls. I haven't used it in ages.

The best?! The best my arse! The original mass effect even though it was not perfect had a much better story, more interesting characters and was all around a much more original game.

Deus Ex well hmm... it was decent and over hyped for it's time. I will NEVER understand the love for the game with exception of the very well done story. However if they took the gameplay for Human Revolution and remade it. Sure why not. But I hate the gameplay for that game.

Devil May Cry... the only game I have ever thrown in the bin. Absolute bollocks.

Edit: only thing I really loved about ME 2. The sound track was bloody excellent.

# GTR Evolution (retail) -> After having already bought and played GTR 2 & GTL (i love classic cars!), this was a step back for me. While not a bad game per se (actually i liked some cars), I didn't liked it very much in comparison to GTR 2.

# Alone in the Dark 5 (retail) -> It seemed a good game but the horrible controls and mostly the HORRIBLE DRM implemented, made me give it away to friends... Fortunately i payed only 10 euros for the Limited Edition (Great Box nonetheless and great stuff inside if you're a collector).

...and for a twist, these are the games I regret for not purchasing the original version when i could:

# Nascar 2003 Racing Season (Papyrus)
# GP500 (Microprose)
# Falcon 4.0 (Microprose)

All of the above are too pricey on the Ebay now.. :(

I really really liked Mass Effect 1 & 2.. Maybe it is the characters or the atmosphere or I don't know but I'm really digging them.. Too bad I never played the 3rd because of the DRM..

As for the Deus Ex, I played it when it first came out and I liked it very much. 2 years ago I played Human Revolution and when I got back to replay the original Deus Ex, I just couldn't.. I missed the gameplay mechanics that HR introduced. Well at least, it's a good thing I played the original back then.. :D

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - I spent only about 10$ but the quality of the game (LOT of bugs) was so poor that I really regret that purchase.
The only game I really regret is Descent 3. It's pretty much impossible to control with the keyboard, and I can't buy a flight stick anytime soon.

Yes, Simbin went downhill after GTR 2.

Sorry meant t say "SAVE" EVERYWHERE AND ANYWHERE (or I think that was an exploit in that console) in the Xbox 360 port, GOD I am an idiot

And I did not give a point against you in mass effect 2, In fact that game does suck ass, not more than 3 though (seriously headshots bypassed them but shooting them in their shoulders blow their heads off? fuck off the edge of my dick Bioware!) Devil May Cry has an exploit where you can save while entering a door and will keep all the red gems together, hell I didn't even mention the game I was talking about in the first paraghrap didn't I?!, I should have made that clearer sorry I am an idiot
How about that ending to Mass Effect 3? But if there was one thing I absolutely and unconditionally loved about it, it was the Citadel DLC. Pricey but some of the best ME3 had to offer.

Pretty much my feeling on it. So many people were raving about how great it was that I picked it up for 5 bucks. Five bucks not well spent, but I'm glad that's all it was.
