GR00T: I loved it. But, as with any game, you'll get mixed reviews. But for me, this one grabbed me well enough to play half way through about 7 times and finish it completely 3 times. And those were all back to back to back. It's the only recent game I've done that with.
Great to hear.
If I like what I see I´ll consider trying it out. :)
Dalswyn: Why, Arcanum, of course!
Mount & Blade offers quite a large cosmetic palette as well.
Thanks, will take a look at Arcanum and I gues I´ll install Mount and Blade in the next few days. :)
NotJabba: I really liked the build customization features in Daggerfall (I think the other TES games have them too). It basically lets you mix and match any of the skills, advantages, and disadvantages available to any of the game's classes (and there are like 16 classes, so lots of abilities). It's not very balanced -- you can create all sorts of game-breaking superclasses pretty easily -- but it's a lot of fun.
Thanks for the recommendation. :)
My problem with the Elder Scrolls is modding them too much and thus loosing interest too soon.
This time I´ll try playing a vanilla playthrough. :D
Leroux: Apart from the usual suspects already mentioned, there's also
URU: Complete Chronicles, an open world puzzle adventure game that you probably wouldn't expect to find
custom character creation in!
First time I heard of a puzzle game letting you create your own character. :)
Will take a look later today. Thanks! :)
