BlueMooner: IIRC in might and magic 8, in your party of 4, you can find dragon PCs, who can breathe fire. They are PCs, not mounts or summons. They aren't available for a while though, since they're powerful.
That doesn't count because the main character can't be a dragon. I'm specifically asking for games where the main character gets this ability.

Just a reminder that I'm excluding recruitable characters; it has to be the *main* character who gets this power. So, unfortunately, these examples don't work.

Y7LAD, it's a fixed mandatory join character, the 2nd one you get.

DnD and Pathfinder have the 'Dragon's Breath' or 'Breath of fire' spells. So all arcane spellcasters can learn to breathe fire in all faithful DnD and Pathfinder games.
