Fenixp: True, but Bradley's new avatar and signature ... Thing has a real possibility of driving GOG customers away as soon as they notice those, so I'd say it's definitely case of the latter. Besides, I don't mind when people explain away their standpoint, even if they're being arseholes during the process (albeit yes, you absolutely did not need thick skin on these boards some time ago), but hiding behind logos and empty slogans is never constructive in any way.

Dalswyn: The blues don't give a flying fuck about that sort of behaviour. At best, they tell you they will scold that person, gently. They don't even delete those hateful messages, even years-old ones (do you want links?). They haven't dignified my last message I sent them with an answer, so it's safe to say there's nothing to expect from Gog's support.

I wonder if that upcoming community specialist is going to give a flying fuck or not.

See and that's where criticism comes in - if you were to criticize my post, provide logical and rational arguments, I would be able to assert the issue from your standpoint and perhaps understand it. Since you don't believe in criticism, you won't do that and there can't be a constructive debate :-P

Seriously tho, it's all about how define these words. Criticism, in common usage, is a word so diluted and devoid of meaning it's often interchangeable with baseless bashing. That this is not the case is ... Mostly ignored by majority.

Actually, I realize that we have different viewpoints, that we probably arrived at them from life's experiences and much contemplation and are both probably unable to share anything on the topic compelling enough for the other to change their mind. Additionally I wasn't feeling I needed to try to get you (or anyone else) to change their mind, and I do respect alternative viewpoints. I have no criticism to offer, so I respectfully disagreed, which means I respect your opinion and don't want to try to convince you to change it. :)

I didn't know about that one, but then again, the fart-o-meter has been so busy those last months the needle broke a while ago.

I hope not though. I'd rather we get someone that's too happy with the ban trigger than remain this way.
I'll even volunteer as a ban sacrifice, if it means that people like bradley, ciomalau, infinite9, tralala123 etc etc are next.

IF they ever get the avatar bug fixed (ha ha ha) and that stain of Bradley's becomes a forum mainstay, AND he is allowed to keep it, then fine, but I am immediately switching my avatar to a swastika, and they better not even think of telling me to get rid of it.

If you go to that GOG Community Specialist job ad, 4chan experience is listed as a requirement. That actually makes GOG worse than 4chan.
