I'd like your intel and fathomless knowledge of gaming on ONE pressing matter.

Name a few games that little kids can install in their computers and learn multiplication, division, better subtraction and addition.

Would like games from 1995 and afterwards.

There are such flash games available.

Btw if I make such game for kids will parents buy it considering it will be either for free or for 1$?

it's the equivalent of 6th grade i guess, but a bunch of them need tremendous help in the early stages of math (division procedures, decimal numbers, multiplication with 0.1 , 0.001 , 1000 etc...)

Khan Academy is a great place to learn all sorts of skills, with a wide variety of math subject, from first grade to college. I know you said games, but this is as close as I got, since you have a few sections with interactive problems.

More Or Less (Covoji Learning) is a free mobile apps that teach kids to learn "more", "less" , "greater than", "less than". This game allow children to learn how to compare numbers. Learning to compare quantities helps preschoolers begin to make sense of the relationships between numbers: four is one less than five, but it is one more than three.

Why not teach them math and creating games at the same time with Python/pygame. Added bonus is that they are better prepared for the future, I mean kids should learn basic Calculus as early as possible :D

Pen-and-paper RPG's. Something like D&D should work well and keep the kids entertained, although obviously it's a good idea to simplify the rules and ignore some of them completely to keep the game flowing and interesting for the little ones. If you don't feel like spinning a campaign for them, just do a short stint where the kids' kobold characters beat up some annoying rats and go to town to buy a chicken or two or something.

All my experience with educational games is pre 1995 but I'd check out something like sesamestreet.org. They have a bunch of free browser based educational games that aren't half bad. And free is always nice.

Depending on the age my preference would lean towards physical activities that teach core skills. I try to avoid screen time for my kids as much as possible so I look for board games or kits that teach skills. There are some great toys that teach the basics of math and coding now.
