I guess my first example would be HoMM3. I got my hands on a demo back when it released originally, and I thought it was incredible. Of course, the computer wiped the floor with me each time :P

As for right now, that game is Dwarf Fortress. I'm trying to make some headway into it, and so far I am miserably failing at each turn. Yet weirdly, it's incredibly fun at the same time. The interface kind of sucks though :P

edit: Oh yeah, and starcraft. I thought I was pretty good at it until I tried playing against my friends :P And Red Alert for that matter, which is when I learned for the first time that skirmish tactics are less than useless against even an okayish human :P

Grand strategy games. Sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing, yet I love them :)
Pretty much every game, and I'm not lying. 4X games are a weakness.
I was never good at gaming but damn I enjoy 'em ;)
As has been said, ALL OF THEM! :D
Life. I need a cheat code so bad.

You two are making me question whether or not I am actually good at any game! Can't really think of anything!
Well, except perhaps for Mortal Kombat IV. I was absolutely deadly with Reptile in that. For some reason I sucked completely at all the other Mortal Kombat games I tried, particulary MK3.

Catherine. Great game, but even "easy" was challenging for me. I was too proud to try "very easy" difficulty. :-/

MorningStar33: Catherine.
Definitely misread that as "caffeine" and was all excited about that counting as a game.
I would have to say roguelikes, i enjoy playing them but i suck at memorizing what each item does or actually beating the game.

Also some management games, i'm currently playing Motorsport Manager on my phone and i don't know anything about F1, i just like the whole make money > improve something > make even more money.

I wish it did because it would be the only game i could list as having completely mastered. I am the John Romero of caffeine bitch making.

EDIT: Well, I guess that would imply I'm not very good at it. :) I am BETTER than John Romero in making caffeine my bitch.

Grand Ages: Medieval.
I can't for the life of me get a good economy going after I've settled a couple cities. Since this game IS about trade and economy it's kind of an issue. :P

It's very relaxing to play it on my PS4 while chilling on my sofa and it's kinda neat watching my citizens go about their business. I can even take a dump without pausing because everything moves at a leisurely pace. It's the perfect after work game to enjoy. :D

But I would probably enjoy it even more if I understood the darn thing. :P

Matewis: Games that you suck at but enjoy nonetheless
All of them.
beat'em ups like Street Fighter; Soul Calibur; older Mortal Kombats.... (the modern MK ones are a bit to much on the violent details for my stomach).
Strategy/4X games, fighting games, and RPGs.
With a few exceptions, I'm pretty awful at any game in these genres, and yet I like playing them.

And Dwarf Fortress taught me the joy of failure in a game.
