Syphon72: What do you mean they added Steam workshop? Like ZP itself add it? Last time I was in their discord, the CEO wasn't too fond of workshop.
MarkoH01: Well ... the exact quote on the Zoom announcement was:
"All FlatOut Games have been updated with mod support and more on both ZOOM Platform and Steam!"
So Zoom is among those that can use mods ......
Syphon72: Remember the creator of the GOG boycott thread is ZP discord Mod that met the CEO of ZP.
MarkoH01: Afaik he wasn't when he started the thread and it is not surprising that someone who is angry with one store would support another one. If one should or want boycott GOG is another thing.
In any case: the update belongs here as well so I will at least contact the devs and see if the assumption that it will stay Zoom/Steam exclusive will be confirmed by them as well.
Edit: Done - will post here if I should get a reply.
Is there any proof that he was not already in contact with ZP before making the thread? He became an admin for the Discord unusually quickly. The fact that he was promoting ZP games was also suspicious. Anyways, if the patch is created by ZP, I doubt it will come to GOG, since the owner has a weird ego and a strong dislike for GOG.

alexandros050: I really don't want to go off topic in this thread but how is the zoom platform version able to download mods from steam workshop? I don't think that is possible. Anyways locking mods on steam workshop that requires owning the game there is pathetic from them and shows their true colors.
I think you can still use Steam command Line if the mode supports both versions. But we already have plenty of mods that only support steam.
Some games like Dawn of War 2 have mods only supported for the Steam version. You can install the mod, but it will crash or not work correctly on none steam versions.
