Not contradicting that but wanted to mention that it was in the Humble COVID-19 bundle on April 6, 2020, which was a 100% charity bundle. I got it from that and don't get the hype at all and gave up on it fairly quickly; quckly checking reviews this is not an uncommon reaction. I didn't like the writing, which seems like the main reason to play the game. Of course some people obviously like it but considering the hype I mention that to suggest trying it within the refund period.

Huh, did not know that Gogdb had been down. In that case, I add the caveat that in any future post I make claiming that a game was last on sale prior to 2020 that it is possible that it was on sale during the time Gogdb was offline.
