Swedrami: Real-time stealth tactics Commandos-/Mimimi-like Sumerian Six by Artificer (Showgunners) and published by Devolver Digital is all but officially confirmed to be coming to GoG.
avatar
Swedrami: Extended Gameplay

"Lead an unlikely team of commando scientists behind enemy lines to fight Nazis, uncover arcane mysteries, and wield experimental technology to turn the tide of WWII in this real-time tactical stealth adventure."

Should be looking at a day 1 release (on the 2nd of September), as was the case with Showgunners and Phantom Doctrine.
Picking up where Mimimi left off, it looks like.
Very nice.

ReynardFox: No what you merely did was try to gaslight, as you always do.
"Gaslight", an applicable and unpoliticized term, you're a very stable genius.

GamezRanker: Hmm, now I wonder: we have a game based on vertigo, so why not have a dev make one about gaslight? Might be fun.
A developer whom I really liked ten years ago just did, and let me tell you in no uncertain terms: Neither of us would think of this game as "fun". I really hope it never comes out on GOG. You guys would completely flip your shit (upside of course, GOG would finally have to restrict reviews to honest and informed customers of the respective games).

And it's a day one release too. This one looks actually interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Trails in the Sky 1 remake announced for 2025 in today's NIntendo Direct. Not much info has been released yet, but as every other Trails game was released on GOG it should come here as well.

Tetris Forever was announced as well. All the other Digital Eclipse titles are here so that should hopefully mean it will come here as well.

Kinda annoying how Nintendo buried that in a sizzle real during the Direct, but it doesn't matter - super stoked this remake is happening, and will absolutely be preordering it here. Falcom and NIS just don't let up.

Vampire Syndicate: Gangs of Moonfall

Same developer as Memoirs of a Battle Brothel

Looks interesting even if the name is a bit of a mouthful. Hopefully this shows up here (Gog has a weird relationship with adult games at times so you never know).

One would certainly hope so, but so far they're being very coy about anything but the Switch release in Japan. It would make sense for them to sell the remake wherever the later games are sold, since it pretty much exists to placate people who resist getting into Trails because the first arc is (horrors) an old game with sprites in it, but as for when...

Platforms – “While the game has been announced for Nintendo Switch, a release on PlayStation and PC platforms is currently ‘to be determined.’ There is a possibility that it could be released on these platforms, and if that decision is made, it will be announced in a press release at a later date.”
Western Publisher – “At this time, the western publisher is ‘to be determined,’ which is why our company name was mentioned in the announcement. There is a possibility that we may handle distribution ourselves, but if arrangements are made with a local publisher, they would be responsible for distribution instead.”

VanishedOne:
How they are handling it is really weird. We don't even know who is publishing and localizing it worldwide.
Ehh I think they probably signed a clause to only advertise the switch version for now, or switch will get it first and other consoles/PC a few months later

Taken from the Freebird Games discord:

"Hey folks, To the Moon Beachsode will launch on September 20, 2024, and the OG TtM is coming to PS/Xbox!

-The Beachsode is initially releasing in English & Chinese, with more languages coming by end of year (we'll try our best to get all the languages from the previous games in there)!

-The playtime is approximately 2.5 - 3 hours.

-It will initially be on PC (Steam + hopefully Humble & GOG) for sure, but we'll also try to make Mac & Linux in-time. Thanks to Ancu & Ali's work from before, it could be doable."
