Uncharted - Indiana Jones starring Nathan Fillion

Move the left stick to progress the story and occasionally engage in a boring and repetetive gun fight with. Oh, and every time he jumps he will barely make it and grunt a lot but will always just pull through but ALMOST MAYBE NOT OMFG SO EXCITING.

Even tough James bond is a spy, I don't remember him sneaking around anywhere much.

It's not so bad, really. I've only played the first one, but it was a fun ride, by Action game standards. It's basically interactive popcorn cinema -- not much depth to it, very linear and scripted, but none the less fun if you're in the mood for it.

If anything, the Metal Gear main characters are based more on Rambo, or Kurt Russell in Escape from LA.

I just get a strong feeling of James Bond in there, especially Snake Eater. But you are correct, I'll add Rambo and Escape from New York. Not sure why you'd mention Escape from LA, that wasn't too great at all :P

Indeed. Actually I think Snake was based on Kyle Reese from the Terminator future war. With a lot of Snake Plisken in there.

I think there's also alternate outfits for Snake, VR missions perhaps, James Bond suit.

Indeed. Actually I think Snake was based on Kyle Reese from the Terminator future war. With a lot of Snake Plisken in there.
I guess it was a popular look for Action heroes during that era. :P And Kojima's work is packed with all sorts of film references, some more obvious than others.

As for Escape from LA/ New York, it's been so long since I've seen any of those films, so I only vaguely remember them. Maybe I'll pick them up on DVD some time.
