Hello guys,

For various reasons I would like to learn Romanian (I am French) and I would like to learn it like I learned English : playing video games (not only of course, you get the drift).

Do you guys know of cool games that have been translated in RO - ideally strategy games and RPG. The more texts the better.
The only game that I know is This War of Mine.
Recently 11 bit studios launched a for the community to translate the game in as many languages as possible: [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CcVu3AtNKY]Babel
So far, the Romanian translation is almost ready. There are just a few problems: the Romanian font doesn't know the capitals Ș and Ț () and sometimes the text overlaps with the title ([url=http://imgur.com/zyHwSTj]link).
The translations is complete and well made, but there are still a few of these font issues for now.

Yeah, localizations do not happen around here. There was an atempt in the nineties, but was deemed too expensive. They've translated only game manuals, but the translations were beyond laughable. The person that did the translation had zero gaming experience, poor knowledge of english (and even romanian) and tried to translate things that have no equivalent in romanian.

It's kind of funny, as we have two major studios (EA and Ubi) that have a lot of romanian employees, but none is doing a localization (i prefer my games in english or, for JRPG's, in japanese, but that's just me).

Probably our market is to small for localizations. Especially considering that most people understand english anyway. Heck a friend of mine is trying to create a keyboard with romanian letters and even that doesn't really has any traction.. It seems romanians don't like their language. Even the national team's T-Shirts had their names wrong (Rat instead of Raț etc.)
