I finally finished my first game in 2015. :)
Lilly Looking Through
A very short adventure game. I think I played just a little more than two hours when it was finally over (and it ended with a kind of a cliffhanger). Somehow it felt like this was just the prologue to a much bigger adventure.
The game is very atmospheric, the background graphics and the music are really beautiful and the animations of Lilly are very well done. I also liked how the story was told without using any words. Gameplay itself is mediocre at best. You can't move around freely, but instead only click on hotspots to move around or interact with items or your environment. Even for a point and click adventure this isn't a good idea in my eyes. Some of the puzzles are well done and the ability to change the time by using Lilly's googles is a good one. The colour puzzles at the end of the game on the other hand didn't seem completely logic to me and I solved one of them by randomly clicking at the items.
Overall I enjoyed the game (it was very relaxing) and I think it is a good one to play it with younger kids, but I have the feeling that there was potential for more. Let's see if there will be a sequel in the future.
