SCPM: Just a heads-up, there's going to be a closed playtest of Alliance of the Sacred Suns on GOG in January, you can sign up here:

Yep! Thanks for sharing the link, we’re excited to get player feedback during the playtest.

ConsulCaesar: Definitely interested in Old World. Civilization needs competition and it's glad to see new 4X coming to GOG.

I had also managed to completely miss any information about The Way of Wrath, there's promising stuff there, at least to keep an eye on it. Even if it looks more survival than the listed RPG.
Glad to hear you are interested in both games!

The Way of Wrath does indeed have survival elements to it, though the overall goal is on getting your tribe ready for the upcoming attack. We released a new trailer together with the publishing announcement with some new gameplay footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gyBE37TuIQ
That's a pretty nice list there. After all the dating sims and less-than-desirable 'games' we got in 2021, it's good to see some very intriguing-looking games are coming in the new year.

Great list, I've wishlisted a few. Sad to see none of my community wishlist though.

joveian: Nice list, I think I have eight of them wishlisted. I also found a demo I didn't see before on Reverie Knights. I then checked all of them for demo links and the three I found are:
Reverie Knights Tactics: Prologue
A Space for the Unbound - Prologue
ULTRAKILL DEMO
Cheers for that!
I've heard of maybe one of these games.

Say, GOG. I don't mean to balk on the matter but has any consideration been put towards a game from say, the year 2000 or earlier? I know, getting games from 1995-1998 is a bit of a special hell.
Are any of these games old games or re-releases?
Where's Dungeon Master 1+2?
I hardly know any of the games featured in this list, other than Terra Nil which I've already enjoyed playing the prototype version and will probably buy it at release day, if I'm not occupied with something else at the time.

As for the ones that seem to be up my alley (Terra Invicta, Falling Frontiers, Alliance of the Sacred Suns, Old World), I really hope they won't turn into a DLC-fest; I've come to be wary of strategy games in recent times...

Having said that, I hope that MGS2 returns at some point soon -- I was going to buy it during the BF sale, when I found out that Konami delisted it not long ago.

Need to mention Skyrim?

Honored to see our games made a clean sweep of your list of 4 there. ;)

If you mean micro-transaction kind of DLC, then I can promise you that won't happen. Both us at Hooded Horse as publisher and each of the development studios behind those games are strategy gamers ourselves, and we believe in treating consumers fairly.

There will be significant worthwhile content expansions released as DLC though--new campaigns and such. We plan for significant post release support and expansion, and we've already officially announced a new campaign is coming for Old World.

That's the way it should be done. The problem is with publishers/developers like Paradox, that end up releasing hundreds of DLCs for their games.

aschaefer75: Dear GOG-Team,

I'd appreciate a hint on the classic releases planned for 2022... I'm aware that special re-releases from companies like Ziggurat or Piko aren't predictable but perhaps you can elaborate a littel bit on the classics we're still waiting for:

- Sierra/Activision back catalogue still missing (Manhunter series, Mixed-Up Series, Eco Quest series.., Woodruff?)
- Lionhead perhaps?
- Digital Anvil perhaps?
- Death Gate was already available for a short time... any chance you get an agreement old license holders (aurhors, publishers)... Would love to see other Legend adventures like Shannara, Companions of Xanth...
Woodruff and the schnibble of Azimuth would be golden..
Speaking of games still missing, CAPCOM has released mere two titles thus far (Dragon's Dogma & Street Fighter Alpha 2), and their catalogue is a real treasure trove, begging to be rediscovered.

Lest I forget - Partisans 1941 and War Mongrels... what's the delay, am I to understand the release dates of these two have been postponed indefinitely? Same for Hitman (2016)?

The usual:
The dev(s) being too enamoured with DRM to let go of it just yet, as far as I know (in case of Partisans 1941) and the devs only selling through the other platforms until it's not profitable anymore and maybe only then GoG gets it as well (in case of War Mongrels).

Nice collection ahead, and thanks for being on GOG without DRM.
I'm looking forward to seeing it here; The Way of Wrath.
Ps: The System Requirements, are not yet indicated for Linux.

It's also the only game in your collection that is compatible with my PC, but maybe there will be surprises with other Linux releases?

I wouldn't notice it's all yours if you didn't say so! Good to hear your business practice doesn't include micro-transaction DLCs; I'm OK with content expansions, as long as you keep them at a minimum. Cheers!
