So one of my games is stuck in an infinite deletion update. I keep most of my games on a big USB drive and every now and then when i start up my pc it doesn't register its there and messes with my games on GoG and Steam and I have to go through this whole stupid process of making the launchers register my games again. This particular game would not reregister correctly, but it still showed as being "installed" so I decided to just delete the game from the GoG launcher so the launcher could correct itself and show the game as being gone. Well now since apparently the game never had any files to delete instead of simply just realizing theres nothing there and doing pretty much anything to correct itself its now locked in a permanent state of deletion for the last like month and its set as the #1 thing in my queue. It cant be cancelled and it cant be moved out of the "first" in queue slot so its now impossible to download any new games or update my current ones.

So until this is fixed GoG is unusable beyond what I already have downloaded. Needless to say this is pissing me off to no end.

Kick it, turn it off and on again, scream at it, something will make it go away....

You don't need Galaxy to download or play GOG games. Hover over your username (on the website via a browser), click Games, click on the game, ignore "Download and Install Now", and underneath that click on the "Download Offline Backup Game Installers", then run the .exe from your download folder.

Doesn't work.
Says this file could not be located in the installers folder. Please make sure the file is in the correct folder, or specify its current location.

I have no files or folders for it yet because nothing is installed and there are no specific files downloaded yet so again im stuck in a loop.

found one more thing i can try hopefully it might unstick me

Don't try to install it through the galaxy client. The client is unnecessary.
Uninstall the client, and download the game installers through your account.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall Galaxy?
It's weird because all the times I have installed a game from a back up the games detect the location automatically, without have to do anything. Could be something on your configuration.

there is no location the game isnt installed. right now im backing up a couple things and then deleting the launcher and seeing what happens
ok so i finally got it. I COMPLETELY wiped the stuck games files from everywhere and then wiped all my launcher files and reinstalled it and it cleared the download queue
