The product page says: You can find this key by visiting https://www.gog.com/account then clicking on "More" and then selecting "Serial Keys" from the drop down menu. ;)

Why would you want to register with egosoft? Do you get free content, or is it required for multiplayer? I would weigh up the pro's versus the cons (i.e. giving away your data) before doing anything like that.

I've read that reply before but when i look on the platform for any of my games i don't see any serial numbers. I've been using galaxy 2 and it hasn't even updated the games i have installed on my computer. I've taken out a ticket on this matter but I just think that galaxy platform isn't as stable and as efficient as it use to be.

I don't know how the Galaxy works to be honest. But when you're given a link, then you're supposed to use your web browser. >.>

You can't see the serial keys using Galaxy. Use a normal browser, go to your account, then select "more" and "serial keys".

Thanks for getting back to me I seem to be running around in circles trying to get some sensible answers to a basic question that neither gog nor steam can answer.

Apparently to get the benefits of playing x4 foundations with respect to levelling up in game npc's ( say you have an armada of ships with npc's that level up extremely slowly) and I believe a free paint job. I've always found egosoft a useful company that works at keeping players informed.

Galaxy 2.0 is still on beta stage, a stable release might take a while.
Egosoft can keep their paintjob and GOG can keep their Galaxy client. The game is playable without too.

I've attached a screenshot of where you can find your Serial Keys. If you can't follow that example, then I don't know if anybody will be able to help you...

Yes I play and no I did not register it but it is a free world and you should do as you wish :-) Totally agree that Egosoft is good. Just wish their games were called InDev when released as that is the shape they are in, playable but not really ready for the masses.

The problem is always that people, rightfully so, expect being able to find the key from inside Galaxy.

That's true, they should be accessible from the Galaxy. Doesn't mean you are supposed to keep looking inside Galaxy when you're told they're not there... ;P
