Oddly enough, my Game Pad doesn't seem to be recognized in my games. (Witcher 2, BloodRayn2, Metro. They all seem to have the option in game and the "Game Pad", by "JITE, Model CX-506" is recognized by Win 7 and can operate in the windows tester, it doesn't seem to exist in the games. The option is blanked out or not highlighted or darkened.

Any Ideas?
have you tried third party programs like xpadder or pinnacle profiler ?

bloodrayne 2 sees my cheapass usb dual shock knock off but i cant resign the button layout which is both annoying and confusing

xpadder yes
pinnacle profiler no its free for a month

and they both more or less do the same profiler emulates a mouse and keyboard and maps them to buttons on a controller

xpadder does the same but is more involved

OK...Bought Xpadder, trying to work with it. It's quite confusing for 10 bucks...

Ahhh, got it, keyboard emulator, the hardest part is finding the game pad, (Controller images) after that it's pretty straight forward. Thanks for the advice.
If your gamepad is Dinput only and the games you play are Xinput you should try x360ce, a free Dinput --> Xinput emulator.

I use it with my collection of (old) Logitech gamepads and works like a charm, you can easily make profiles too with the record function.

Do these game profiles work with Xpad, because right now they are only asking $5.99
