Mods - something to love about PC gaming, yes? Yes. From little tweaks to bug fixes to total conversions, they take good games and make them great, and great games become greater-er. And they breathe new life into a title that maybe you love but have played a jillion times and need something fresh.
I restarted Mount & Blade: Warband a while back, and some folks had mentioned the Propehcy of Pendor mod. Thought I'd give it a whirl since it comes highly recommended. Well worth the download. M&B:W is already a really fun game and this mod greatly expands upon that fun, and so far I haven't encountered a single glitch. There are some ease-of-use things in the mod that alone would make it worth adding to the game, and it also adds a new world map, new factions, enormous amount of new armor, weapons, and steeds, and the combat feels significantly tougher without changing the basic mechanics of fighting.
What mods / conversions are sucking up your gaming time?
