Hey guys. So I just bought TW3 (my first game on GoG) and I wanted to know if I am going to have to reinstall the game, even though its already on my computer via Steam. I have the main game, DLC, and patches all installed on Steam, so will I have to redownload it all again for GoG?

This is my first time using the service and so I'm not completely sure how it all works yet.
Yeah, the GOG installer is completely different. Although I'm not sure I understand your question: if you have it installed already, why would you need to install it again?

Or are you talking about GOG Galaxy?

Like I said, I'm not sure how this service works. I have the game installed via Steam, and since I bought TW3 on GoG, I wasn't sure if I would have to reinstall the game again for some reason. And yes, does Galaxy require you to reinstall a game in order to use it on that service?

Still not sure I understand. Forgive me for being dense here, but you have the game on Steam and installed on your machine? If yes, then no need to reinstall the game, right?

If you mean in the future isf you uninstall the game and want to use the GOG copy, then yes, you have to use GOG's installer.

I don't use Galaxy, so not sure, but I think you can get it to search your games and add it to the Galaxy client (something like adding a non-Steam game to Steam, maybe?) Not sure if Galaxy achievements would work though. Probably not.
