This is maybe weird, but I don't know how else to approach this. What games do people play on Galaxy MP? I now have 174 gog games after the fall sale, but I have yet to play a single game of anything with anyone on Galaxy. What are the most played MP games on Galaxy? I surely have at least a couple of them. I need some friends, and some people to play with. None of my RL friends are serious PC gamers.

Or do people just use Galaxy as a client and shopping/download module (like me?). Admittedly, my fondness for old RPG's doesn't lend itself to a lot of MP mayhem. Just curious, hoping maybe the greater community can answer. Thanks guys and gals!

Only played MP through Galaxy once, when Aliens vs Predator 2000 was launched.
Was cool, was playing as Marine and the whole team left, leaving me alone with two or three aliens.
Things got really scary >_<

Anyway, sadly the community around here don't get along with MP that much.

AS neurasthenya did hint the community is quite divided on Galaxy, for some it is an evil for others (like you) ok, some do really like it.
I think that GOG is trying to develop Galaxy also as a tool to provide MP functionality, maybe even to older games.
But unfortunate not YET any indicator/indication which games can be played via Galaxy, I only heard of one game (sorry forgotten the name).

Most people looking for MP do say so in the corresponding sub-forums and they use other means to play MP.

Depends. Are you talking about Galaxy users on the whole? I can't help you there.
You talking about this particular forum community? You'll be hard-pressed to find anybody to play with since people have a tendency to view multiplayer as a form of DRM and thus avoid it.

Original Sin uses Galaxy for MP. That's an RPG.
I've seen like a maximum of 4 open servers. :P (each with 2 people max of course)

shadow warrior 2 showed plenty of plenty of servers (might be due to the crossplay though). Trine 2 seems very healthy too

I only played a few titles online through Galaxy Client since I installed it and use it, even now.

Trine 3 and AvP Classic with friends and that's it.

Dying Light is not cross play title from description, you basically can't play it with friends on Steam, Shadow Warrior 2 on the other hand has a cross play matchmaking implemented so you can play on both steam and gog version with the world.

Guess Trine 3 and 2 maybe also has a cross play matchmaking system with steam. Other MP titles may also require Galaxy client, if no lan option is available.

Played many MP games on Galaxy with The Witcher Adventure Game.

As well as many hours of Gwent, which I imagine is the most played MP Galaxy game (even in its beta stage).

I'm not really using Galaxy, the old downloader mostly works fine for downloading. But if I would use play multiplayer games with Galaxy I would like to know what you want to know too for sure. My guess is that the community lacks the connections to answer that questions unfortunately. A feature about that would be good. Therefore I made a feature request:

A page on gog.com or within Galaxy to tell about actively played multiplayer games would be nice. One could even extend this towards friends profiles and seeing which MP games they play or don't play (a bit like Steam). Of course optional as always.

Is there are list of Galaxy cross play capable games? I would imagine games where multiplayer communities are separated by platform don't really have big player bases on Galaxy considering only part of GOG community uses Galaxy to begin with and only fraction of them play MP.
