Johnathanamz: It has to do with it as I said I don't want that stuff to get into gog.com, ever.

ZFR: OK... as usual, you exhibit an amazing inability to read what's actually posted.
I read cyberchief1984's topic and I said my answer is no and that I don't want a inventory system on gog.com.

I guess you didn't read that from my comment.
I've never really understood what the inventory system and trading cards thing was all about on Steam? I mean what's it for? Is it just for collecting cool looking cards like when I used to collect the Garbage Pail Kids sticker cards when I was a kid?...

I did.
I asked for the reason as to why would you care about Galaxy features since you don't use it anyway, to which you replied you don't want to see microtransactions. Yes, makes sense.
Yes - reserve the bottom third of the screen for the inventory and verb panel!
avatar
Johnathanamz: Because I don't want gog.com to be the same exact as Steam.
If you don't use Galaxy and have no plans too, it never going to impact you... so why do you care? What makes you think that what you want is anymore important or relevant than what people who are actually going to use Galaxy want?

Galaxy already has features that Steam does not so it can never be an exact copy of Steam... you can of course have an opinion but you don't speak for me or many others here.

Johnathanamz: I don't want that microtransaction infested greedy Steam Marketplace to get into gog.com.
GOG already has micro-transactions via GWENT. You are a little late to the party... if successful (which it has been) they will probably allow more games that are Free 2 Play.

Ha! -- I think a lot of GOGers would be okay with that. ...Unless, perhaps, they made it a pixel-hunt to find the "Play" button for each game. ;)

I don't want to see greedy capitalism appear on gog.com.

I'm fine with GWENT: The Witcher card video game being on gog.com, I think GWENT: The Witcher card video game will be a one off thing for gog.com, I think GWENT: The Witcher card video game will be the only Free to Play (F2P) video game on gog.com ever.

I'm sick and tired of you and other people who support this greedy business model. It's quite frightening because in the future if we are so stupid and keep accepting this ALL full priced retail video games will have microtransactions and even Pay to Win (P2W) microtransactions like Activision does in the Call of Duty video games.

This needs to stop now and thank god my Do not ever allow microtransactions and full priced video games with in app purchases and stuff like that is getting votes.

Thank god the gog.com version of Gremlins, Inc sold on gog.com doesn't have any microtransactions.

Thank god gog.com has made sure that there are no microtransactions in Gremlins, Inc before it got sold on gog.com.

Microtransactions go against gog.com's business.

CD Projekt RED has said they don't believe in selling microtransactions for fully priced retail video games.

In the end people like you who are so pro-business and support this business type of model piss me off. I hate you so much right now.

The beauty of the free market... I'm glad I have that much of an impact on you. :)

I've told you before and I'll tell you again, there's a difference between SUPPORTING something and RECOGNIZING it exists. If you don't like Galaxy, don't use it, but don't expect everybody else to hate it and don't expect it not to be successful.

ZFR: .... why would you care about Galaxy features since you don't use it anyway .......
I'd imagine it's the same reason people who don't have children care about child slavery - they don't like watching people corrupt something which was once pure.

It's not that I agree or disagree with the threads question, it's asking why a person should care about any subject is both rhetorical and pointless.
No need whatsoever for an inventory system. We should get our other issues sorted than introduce more headaches to the system.

zeogold: It used to hold gifts as well that you accepted but didn't want to download, but not anymore.
What do you mean by that?
