I said, that I'll contribute something myself, so here's a waltz I composed in 30min and recorded two days ago directly from my hurdy-gurdy without any editing besides cutting and laying the two voices on top of each other. Please excuse the rhythm problems, recording is awkward for me since I usually just play at sessions.
Just googled the instrument, cant believe i never seen it before or even heard about it.
Sounds great.

It's a song by Schubert named "Der Leiermann" and the original text is German, I sometimes play and sing it too.
Just a note: The instrument on the picture in the video is a barrel organ and something entirely different.

Ah, man, as much as I want to enter this, I need to save my text adventure for IFComp because the rules state I can't publish it anywhere until they take my submission. I do, however, have a complete one, the only issue is that I made it long before this month. Would you still accept it anyways, or am I gonna have to find some other way to enter?

As long is it's finished this month or the recording of an older tune is made this month, it counts.
I just want to see people actually creating something, that's the whole purpose.

At this point, I'd be glad even about a single thought out sentence, seeing how this series of GAs was never well visited anyway.

For I look at my painting and look at my life.

I gaze at the canvas with palette in hand.

With soft, tender strokes, I slide the brush, for no masterpiece is born of a rush.
The colors! The life! The vibrant array! Truly, I am ruler of all I survey.
I am fit for Olympus! The canvas, it screams! "Praise you, oh master of garish dreams!
I proclaim myself king of my pigment domain, but God looks at me and proclaims I am vain.
I gaze at the canvas with mere imitations.
I gaze at the muddle of crude recreations.
And acquiesce, and concede with a nod.
For none can compete with the paintbrush of God.

Also, is it fair if I have more than one entry? If I finish any of my other projects, I'd love to share it with you guys.
