On the steam version you could friend people in the rift was this function not included in the gog version? Or am I missing something?

What's Steam like then? You can just write something about a game anywhere without mentioning it, and the post magically migrates to the correct forum?

when u pick the forum option on a game you go to the forum of said game not a general forum

That's what it does for me. If I go to my account, click on a game and choose "Forum" in the "More" dropdown, I am taken to that game's specific forum, not the general forum.

Goes to the forum (at least, it does now), but maybe it's a Galaxy glitch?

Are you using Galaxy? I believe that could be the issue, if so. Seems to me a lot of the Witcher 3 players that were using Galaxy ended up on the general discussion forums as well when they posted for help.

Uh...there are plenty more where that one came from. The ones in the OP are all still pointing to General, and I'm sure most of the rest are, too.
