And some (most?) games of this genre are certainly of ''questionable'' quality.

To each his own. The more games here - the better! Don't like? Don't buy. Simple as that.

There's just the aftertaste of certain devolepers in the past calling out to GOG ''Can I have my game released here?'' and either not recieving any answer or '''No. You don't meet our high curation standards.''

Yeah but as far as I understand some of those games have come over since then, GOG seems to have changed it's attitude.
It's just weird that people treat these games as an "OR" not an "AND".
These releases certainly don't impact the changes of other games being released.
As far as I remember the unrated patch took a while after the actual game to be released both here and on steam.

+1, since I also enjoyed HuniePop. The first one more than its sequel. I guess some people are more offended by the quality of some of the games than them being eroge, which is fair enough, while others are simply more conservative. GOG should really implement a per-user adult content filter to appease the prudes :P.

The problem is not porn, but deficient sex education in some areas. And nowadays with the internet (not just the porn btw, all kinds of other content), you need to start pretty much at puberty, perhaps even a bit before.

Any influence, porn or otherwise, will readily fill the gap left by a lack of socio-normative education early in life.

Basically, you're not gonna kill that dragon. Reproduction is a primal drive necessary for survival that will make itself heard no matter how much you put your hands on your ears and sing. However, you can certainly channel it in a more constructive way if you're wise enough to put a saddle on it early and lead it where you want it to go (if you just let it run its natural course without any direction... well... look at what happened historically whenever an army conquered a territory which started happening long before porn existed... yeah... my point exactly).

You won't. And you probably will not see any current Illusion game. Remember, Honey Select 1&2 pack was the most purchased game on DLSite for a very long time. It was the top game. Now Dohna Dohna is. So I don't think we're going to see those games or Koikatsu or AI Shoujo, etc here.

Just thought it needs an unrated patch, Mosaic is survivable.
